I haven't stopped watching WAT this season, but until the last epi before last night's, the season sucked. Last weeks was really good. This weeks was disappointing on many levels.
But I did like the Martin/alex/jack stuff. EC does such a great job of portraying Martin's emotions thru facial and body mannerisms ( those expressive eyes!!) which is great because they don't give him enough spoken material to ,for sure! I did think that Jack didn't really seem to know whether to believe Martin at the end of the epi . If he did I think he would have or at least should have said more to Martin to ease Martin's mind.
Criminal minds is coming on soon...so MP was terrible and unbelievable story. Jack is still an ass and yes I thought from last season that Alex and Jack were friendly.

Now you all know that I haven't seen this episode, just the clips at federalthreesome (dot net), but, I would like to make my observations in regard to J/M/Alex.

It seemed pretty obvious as to why Jack is mad at Alex and pissed off at Martin. When Jack stepped off the lift (elevator) he caught the tail end of Martin and Alex' conversation, and, as you all know that is never good. For some reason when that happens to us we always believe that those people where talking about us. They probably are, but, I always say "while they are talking about me, they are leaving someone else alone".

Jack has to ascert his authority otherwise what is the point of him being back in charge?

Martin talking to Jack at the end was his attempt to let Jack know that it wasn't him rather his father who was behind the so called offer, as jack should well know. Martin has never wanted "any preferential treatment" right from the begining, I think he was just re-enforcing this to Jack.

It makes good drama!

I will be sure to vote when we get around to watching this episode Down Under.

I voted the episode three and a half stars because it was a great episode and it is J/S free so I didn't get sick to my stomach during the show but will likely to be in two weeks after this episode when [DELETED FOR SPOILER CONTENT] :( (I went ahead to looked at the tv listings at tvguide.com) so I am planning to not like that episode at all.

Before I had to figured out that I had forgotten something, I like J/M/Alex part. It is really good :).

It seems Jack hasn't learned much from his therapy sessions, because he remains belligerent and suspicion of his own boss. I recall Alex saying he had his back while the higher-up wanted him out. I just don't get it. He needs to let go.

The poll options are great.

Unfortunately I can't vote until the epi will be shown in the UK next year!

By that time we'll all be cheering from the rooftops or clinically depressed about how Martin's new love interest has gone!

I'm watching the eps on line, Warner Channel hasn't even promote season 7, and no reruns from season 6...

I was wondering if all that about his new love was just chi chat from the producers to keep us watching. Didn't something like that happened in the past when they promised a new love from recovery world? Or is it that all happened in the shadows and now is when we will learn? ???

Who knows? But I hope that since Ausiello mentioned it in his spoilers that this is a big hint its going to come to fruition.

I know! Yet another reason I'm praying there won't be a strike.

Well, I thoroughly enjoyed this episode.

If it wasn't the most cutting edge MP episode ever there were enough twists and turns to hold my interest to the end but it was all the little snippets of personal stuff which really impressed.

Continuity does exist! Sam finally confirmed that she had been married. Then there was the hint that Victor Fitzgerald has been doing some meddling in the affairs of the department.

Although it never became a major storyline it did round off the "Martin for promotion" scenario.

A big boo for Jack here - you wouldn't have expected him to throw his arms around Martin and become his best buddy but his almost indifference to Martin's "confession" was nauseating.

Martin had no need to apologise for his father or even to say anything at all but he acted honourably throughout - he didn't go behind Jack's back nor reveal to any other of the team what was going on - that was the significance of his earlier exchange with Elena - and he did turn the opportunity down. He then had the courtesy to give Jack the heads up.

It is almost beyond belief that Jack just accepted this as his due - it seems that he just doesn't believe that he has acted out of line, has been badly treated and intends to go on pretty much in the same manner. It was a sif he was calculating how he could see off a future threat from Martin.

As to how Jack learned of the developments it is hard even at the top to keep secrets in an office but I would assume Medina gave him the tip off. Olcyzk is one of those bosses whom you don't want a vote of confidence from!
