I've only posted here a few times, because I can't get obsessed with yet another board. But I have to offer an explanation about Danny's hair. I really, really don't like it either. And it's almost impossible for me to not like something about Danny. But there is an explanation! EM filmed a movie this summer where he had to look all shaggy and unshaven. Believe me, when I see the stills from this movie, he looks adorable in them! But the look does not work for Danny at all. EM was growing it out last spring. So I think he'll still have bad hair and sideburns until episode five. If his hair isn't back to shorty/spike then, my heart just might break! I just devoted way too much time to a post about Danny's hair. The entire post cracked me up... You DO spend a lot of time thinking about Mr. Taylor's hair... he's so cute that I understand. Now about the eppie... Puaj! Puaj! Puaj! Puaj! Puaj! Marty's tie. Why, oh why does he do this to me? Why? ALP... my mom says he looks (even... ?) hotter. Me: Poppy...getting chubby. New bra size for sure. Her boyfriend must be ... And believe it or not I missed Elena... what are the chances? In general, not that bad.

See... I think the bad tie thing is a indicator that he has no woman in his life. Martin needs a woman in his life!!!!

Believe it or not but WAT has been fast tracked to OZ TV and we saw this episode last night YEH! It was a rather sad ep. for me at least. The plight in the Sudan and the kidnapping of a child, anyhow there were only two dissapointments for me.
1. Not enough of the regular cast on screen, except ALP, of coarse.
2. Viv's case and appearence seemed tact on to the show and out of place. I know they are investigateing an existing case, but it didn't work for me. And I don't think I like James Marsterson in this show. Maybe I better give him a bit more time, see how it goes.
As for Martins tie, doesn't wardrobe pick them out for EC to wear? Maybe you girls need to direct your complaints to them. My opinion he could wear a belt around his neck and still look cute. Doesn't matter! But, how about Danny's tie almost as colourful!

Well I'm as shocked as anyone else when I say this, but I LOVED IT! I really was enthralled by it! It was a really sad episode seeing the people in the Sudan being killed and knowing the young boy was taken to be "saved", but it all seemed to fit together well! Yes Martin's ties were ridiculous (and his hair at the front was curling forward like a 50's motorcycle gang member or something ), Danny's sideburns needed a mow and Jack's highlights... well the guy is probably in the middle of a mid-life crisis (or should I say STILL in the middle of it ) so I'll let that one fly for now. If I see red or green in there, then he needs some words. Oh, and I think it might just be me, but Poppy seemed really big! She took up the whole screen and seemed frumpy. She was pregnant at this stage, right? Well she looked about three times the size of the model mother, I found that weird But yeah, I loved the episode! I've seen that many didn't think the Vivian stuff fit into the rest of the episode, but I actually really liked it! It's good to see her go out on her own and not have to beg for Jack's permission for everything she's doing. She's got her own wings and now she's flying, and dear God thank you, her hair was NORMAL!! Hahaha they showed a clip of her talking to Jack at the very beginning during that 'previously on Without a Trace' bit and to see that fuzzy hair out the front sticking up, I was laughing hysterically. That was the worst thing I'd seen in so long! But yeah, I think it was pretty much even with all of the cast members getting their own screen time (and yay! first tech guy is back! Hehehe wonder how the actor thought about that when the casting staff called for him to come back ) and it all worked well. It was actually a very believable case, possibly the first one in such a long time! Seriously for me, I think this is the best episode since 'Stolen' in season 5, which is another faves of mine. Oh, and I think all TV shows are going to try this very same thing, having an episode about celebrities adopting children from third world countries. Law & Order did it last week. Huge competition for who does it the best, and so far, WaT might just be pipping the post So yeah, all in all I loved the eppys, nothing to really complain about for me. Sad but such a great story! And the Sudanese music at the end was really beautiful.

And the Sudanese music at the end was really beautiful. Exactly the same for me Broni (though I'm arriving very late, I know). I loved this episode for its story, of course, and also because it's one of those episodes in which Wat puts us in front of matters bigger than life and let us there. They never judge, they don't take a stand, they let it up to us. For me is as if they're asking us, "So now? What do you think about this? And what are you going to do about this?". This is one of the aspects of this series that always appealed to me the most. The song at the end is: "OKAN BALE" by Angelique Kidjo. Here it is: www.youtube.com/watch?v=6aJuXJgezOk
