This one was much better than last week. Although the JS drama was still there, but oh well. I didn't think the MP case was terrible, not exactly the best I've seen, but not unbearable to watch. I'm glad Danny and Martin had a little friendly conversation. It's been awhile since there's been anything like that with them. I thought the D/E part was cute too. I'm glad Danny's happy. The worst part of the episode to me was Jack punching the drunk guy. I mean, I get that he's mad, but what did he really accomplish? Anyway, I think that was his way of taking out his frustrations because Sam obviously doesn't see him as any sort of father-figure for Finn and has some sort of feelings for Brian. Whatever... I can't wait for next week and all the Martin/Kim drama. ;D BTW... what's up with PM's hair? I can't say I'm crazy about the reddish color. I guess she'll forever be a blonde in my mind, natural hair color or not.

With the exception of the Martin/Danny and lot's of Danny in general - I thought the episode was boring. It was so much more interesting reading Jenn's spoiler writeup versus watching.
The MP - I didn't care one bit if they found her or not. I think the Russian angle has been done to death.
I think next week is going to be a juicey ep.

The missing person storyline was probably the worst in all 7 seasons. And yes.. the Russian thing has been done way too many times. Uri lost his fake accent by the end. Happy for Danny and Elena! I hate her bangs.. she looks like she can't see 2 feet in front of her. Jack and Sam... yeah, that looks like it's going to hold. She showed more emotion for unconscious Brian. I guess when you hold up a restaurant, hold people hostage, point a loaded weapon at them, you get away with it? I think by the time this farce of a storyline was over, the writers decided to just let Dimitry go!

Does anyone think we will ever see a missing person we can relate to and care about? What happened to those regular, hard working people who went missing for interesting reasons?

You want to know something funny? I'm watching this... barely hanging on... Uri gets shot in the back.. and then we get to see Sam with her baby.. Danny and Elena.. and then they showed the MP again.. and I was like.. oh yeah.. she's still missing.. I forgot about her.

Okay, let me get my superficial stuff out of the way first: Martin and Danny looked sooooo good in this eppy. Eye candy all over the place! Quick thoughts: I wanted to like the missing person but, now maybe this was just me being so distracted by the handsomeness that are Danny and Martin, but it felt like they skipped over parts or it was choppily put together. I think the actress who played Lana is so beautiful and I liked her but I'm very confused as to the characters motivations and it made it hard for me to empathize with them. It felt like there were scenes missing. Maybe I have to watch again. The missing person storyline was probably the worst in all 7 seasons. And yes.. the Russian thing has been done way too many times. Uri lost his fake accent by the end. I guess when you hold up a restaurant, hold people hostage, point a loaded weapon at them, you get away with it? I think by the time this farce of a storyline was over, the writers decided to just let Dimitry go! Martin told Elena that INS was deporting Dimitri back to Russia (which I think aligns with a person here illegally committing a crime) and that Lana would most likely follow him - they are 'soulmates' after all. I liked seeing so much of Danny! He was handling interviews with his patented snarky comments but was full of great compassion and authority when handling the hostage negotiation. Loved it! I also thought his proposal to Elena was very cute and sweet. (Yes, I am still upset she hasn't said 'I love you' officially to him yet - by official I mean where I can witness it. LOL. But she did seem very happy that he asked her.) I totally loved how he commented how things can change so fast and that he could 'get abducted by aliens' - very cute. I FF>> through most of the JS stuff but I did watch the stuff between Brian and Sam. I swear, PM just glows around Adam even when he is lying all wounded. I do appreciate that she looked like someone who was in a car accident and her hair was a bit mussed and no make-up. Good job there. Now for the stuff I care about: Martin. I loved that he talked to Danny about Kim and the gun situation and Danny being Danny was trying to put a positive spin on it. Oh, what I wouldn't give to have had an eppy with a double date! LOL. Was I the only one who thought of Annie2000 during the moment when Elena arrived and asked about dinner but both guys were quiet and she asked if she interrupted something? Cuz I totally did. I liked the 'soul mate' comments between Martin and Elena. I thought it was a good exchange with a bit of foreshadowing for them both. I loved that they inserted some clips of Martin thinking about Kim as he did the search on the gun. And is Martin a fast typist or what? That was quick work typing in those numbers. LOL. Oh, and that damn agent sure is super helpful to Martin by getting that case stuff wrapped up. Maybe he has a crush on Martin? LOL. I thought even Martin was like, "Dude! You're killing me here! You're screwing up my love/sex life!" LOL. That said, I am sooooooo excited for next week. So excited. Did I mention I'm excited? Cuz I am. ;D ETA: Sharon! That was lightening fast!! Thank you soooo much!! Especially for including the promo for next week. Cuz in case I forgot to say so, I'm super excited about that eppy.

i was confused about the missing person. i had no idea what she was doing. i have no idea how she ended up with that fat guy. as for danny and elena....i love it i think that samantha and brian would make a cuter couple. and seeing as how jack reacted when he heard samantha talk to brian, i think that it might end between them. i do feel sorry for jack though. and martin. the look on his face at the end when he opened saw the murder (or whatever it was on the screen) made me want to cry.

I thought the team dynamics in this were really good- I wasn't optimistic about the crash story line but it was really nice to hear the team being concerned about Sam etc. And it made me smile, albeit a bit sadly, that Martin was the one to talk to Sam's mum. The soulmates conversation between Martin and Elena really did make me sad though- I guess I just miss the old Martin, when he was optimistic and did believe in things like soulmates and white picket fences And the proposal was soooo cute! I'm a bit ambivalent about D/E but that was really sweet

The episode felt "off" to me, and I can't really put my finger on what exactly the problem was. Certainly, the dialogue was one of them. The writing is awful! Even the team interactions, as much as I loved them, felt stilted and sort of awkward to me. Martin and Danny are my favorite pairing on the show, by far, but I didn't really like their little talk. I didn't see the point of Martin asking Danny about things he already knew. I don't know.
This episode pretty much gave me everything that I would want: lots of Danny and Martin, lots of team interaction, and yet I thought that the writing, execution, directing and editing were absolutely awful. It makes me sad, because I can tell that TPTB's are trying hard to give us a better show, but it's not working. It starts with better writing, and we don't have it.
The hospital scenes were better than I thought they would be after reading the spoilers. What I found interesting is that while it's obvious how much Jack cares about Sam, at the end I was thinking that if he loves her that much he should let her go. I think that maybe he felt that Sam would be better off with Brian. If he was selfless for once, he would be so much more likable!
As for Sam, she is much softer with Brian and much more, well, likable. Isn't that what we want, to actually like the leads of the show? However, I also thought that the writing for the hospital scenes was horrible and made no sense at times. And Sam wanting to help take care of Brian because she was driving the car is a poor excuse. She has nothing to feel guilty about. The were just hit by a drunk driver and there's nothing anyone could do about it. All in all, I hate this story and find it totally pointless. I still think that the writers should go with the obvious and realistic angle with J/S. It's against the rules! Imagine the great team scenes we could be treated to, especially between Jack and Viv!
And I hated that Jack hit the guy at the end. It just proved to me that he still has difficulty controlling his emotions and yes, maybe Sam is better off with Brian! And who stayed with Hannah when all of this was going on?
I'm really down on the show right now, but still, I CAN'T WAIT FOR NEXT WEEK! Poor baby!
