Whoa... Some subtle M/S scenes at the 1st eppie there! 1. Sam commenting about his smile... ;D 2. Sam defending him in front of Danny - telling Danny that he has brains behind his looks 3. Sam was first one to notice and ask where Martin was when they went to computer tech guy's lab! Soo sweet... On the other hand... I don't know... I didn't like any of the Jack scenes there... Don't know... he got this bad aura around him there...

I never even saw it!!! I didn't start watching WaT until the middle of th first season, and they've never rerun the pilot. I guess I'll be buying the DVD eh?
I've also never seen Shadows, even though I'm a loyal viewer because we didn't have cable then, and our local station decided to air a special about Seinfeld instead. (how stupid!) Not to offend any Seinfeld fans, but I'm told that Shadows was one of the best eppies for M/S and I've never even seen it! AARRGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!! Guess I'll be buying the DVD of season 2 too.

Sammy! If u live in the US, Season 1 is being reaired on TNT there. They just aired the Pilot last night. Yeah... I was so surprised to see Sam sticking it out for him there... could have done without the Jack crap there.. sorry... I know remember why I didn't pay much attention to it the first time it aired... because of his attitude there.

There are so many subtle M/S scenes in season 1, when I bought the DVD (I was obviously looking for them :-)) but I was surprised at how often they popped up. One of my favorite M/S episodes is "Birthday Boy" because of all the scenes where Sam tries to help Martin get back in the field, and the adorable scene at the end.

I saw the pilot a couple of months ago, and when I got the DVD, I watched again ! eheheh They flirt since eps 2, because in the pilot, they are still a little .. unsure of things ... but SamĀ“s comments about Martin for Danny are so cute! eheheheh

Oh really?? Episode is where the big flirting begins?? Whoa!!! I can't wait to see it... U know what I think... if Sam had been paired up with Martin... things would have been certainly been very interesting...

I just re-watched it on TNT this previous Monday and I was all about seeking out MS. I remember reading or watching somewhere that Hank Steinberg had originally intended for Martin and Sam to be together but then ALP and PM decided to play up the affair business.
It's fun to watch the pilot and see the changes they decided to make to the show after it was picked up. The set alone was completely jazzed up. The previous set, while more realistic, was so blegh. ;D
Also, they all looked so young in that episode. ;D

I loved the Pilot and Fallout commentary by Hank Steinberg because he said that he always felt that there was chemistry between Martin and Sam and purposefully set out to make Martin fall in love with her from the beginning. The man's a genius!

Well it's a good thing that Steinberg pushed M/S relationship ahead there!!! What were ALP and PM thinking there! Arghh...

I started watching the Season 1 DVD lastnight (not done yet, only got as far as Midnight Sun) and needless to say, it's been fantastic! The writers were definitely up to par, so far (hey, that rhymes).
Martin & Sam........*sigh*....so cute.......*sigh*
