I know that I am starting this thread a little early but you know me I'm very excited for tonight's eppy and have high hopes. I have faith that this episode will be good. Plus I need some more M/S moments to work into my stories ;D --Nice to see Danny and Martin working together. Always nice to see Martin right away. --Was it just me or did Jack have really wierd look on his face as he was approaching Samantha? --Jack working alone. Is something up with Jack? He is acting really strange tonight

--Eric. That poor kid. I can totally relate to his feelings. It is sad how cruel kids can be to each other.
--Is Martin doing 'research?' at the arcade.
--Oh, the social order and being alone. Hm, I think that Samantha knows exactly what that feels like.
--That scene in the bathroom was really disturbing and made me sick.
--Ah, Martin played football. That is so cute.
--Danny was a trouble maker at that age. I thought so!
--I like Vivian with Darren--she is a good agent who manages to help get answers while be gentle.
--"I am going to talk to tough guy and mommy." LOL
--Oh, I like Jack playing this kid. He is finally acting like himself <g>
--Viv/Martin--I like their dynamic together. "Let's go, man." Nice.
--Jack and little girls. Makes me more convinced that he is a great father.

--One second?!? That's all we got for M/S moments. We were cheated again.
--Danny amused over his paper. I have a feeling that he is not a true believer in romance, huh?
--I love this show but I am getting really frustrated with this show especially since Martin is left out another search.
--Girls can be the worst. While my friends and I weren't like that, it sickens me that some girls actually do such a thing.
--Sam a geek? I don't believe it.
--I do like the Sam/Danny's working relationship but couldn't have been Martin instead?
--Emily, she scared me after she stared at Jack.
--Petty jealously.
--Finally, M/S moment. And she leaned into him.
--The song. Oh god, I'm tearing up. Does anyone know who sings it?

I'm realy tired, but I'll just say a bit about this episode. Wasn't expecting the 'Sam was a geek' thing, but it makes sense. How Danny and Martin were, that I expected. I was feeling so bad for the kid, and I hate those girls. The sad thing is most people think it's the guys who are the bully's, when really it's usually the girls that inflict the most damage. I know a girl who in Grade 6 was suddenly and apparently for no readon shunned by everyone in the school, to the point where she had to switch schools. She came to my school, and only then did she find out the nasty rumurs people had spread about her from her old school (which by the way is on the other side of town). It's amazing what girls will do. But back to the episode, I really liked it. The ending was really sad, Danny was crying!!! There was ONE (count it, ONE) M/S moment, that wasn't nearly long enough. They had better make it up to us.

I was crying like a baby at the end. And that song. Wow! It was so beautiful. Since I read the spoilers for this eppy, I envisioned the perfect ending of Jack going home to Marie and his girls, and ending with him holding all three of his girls. I was a bit disappointed by Hank's ending. At least we got something tonight. After the last two weeks, I will take 20 seconds of M/S

That would have been awsome, a perfect way to end it. I loved this episode, my sister was crying at the end too. It was really sad, I thought he was gonna be dead when they found him. This reminds me of Maple Street a bit, wierdly enough, I guess it's because they were both kids and both were sad endings (mind you, Maple Street was more sad). I loved both of them.

The end with the kid and Danny and Jack was really powerful very touching with Danny crying. And Sam a geek... well it really suprise me! I'm very disapoint that there was just ONE MS scene ! I want another Moving On and Exposure !!! I thought he was gonna be dead when they found him I thought so too! This reminds me of Maple Street a bit, wierdly enough, I guess it's because they were both kids and both were sad endings (mind you, Maple Street was more sad). It's funny it reminded me also of Mapple Street but I thought it was sadder this episode... something about a 12 years old (I think) who want to end his life is really troubling for me!

But it was something, right? I'm trying to stay positive LOL. And she leaned into him.
This show packed an emotional punch for me because I can remind how mean kids were to me especially since I was not in the 'cool' group but never to these extremes. It was painful and very educational in alot ways of watching this eppy.
But it was the song that really got me. It is amazing what the right song can do for a scene.

Oh, I agree. The song was perfect for that, I was at the edge of my seat throughout the whole ending sequence. I wasn't expecting the Sam is a geek thing in the least, but I do get it. I think I can see it. And I'm not going to change A Favour, but I have a way to work that into it.

.
I was thinking about your fic after this eppy aired. To me that line about the social order and being alone works perfectly into your Samantha in "A Favour" ie that she actually feels empathy for those poor souls that her group targets and even though she is a popular girl, Samantha is still different--totally separate from her friends because of her own feelings. Does that make sense?

Yah, it makes perfect sense. But this episode gave me an idea, and I'm gonna work the 'Sam the Geek' thing into my story, you'll see.
