Damn you got that right honi, Poppy is really gorgeous and Eric is damn hot. 'Taken' is on here tomorrow night and I keep seeing previews with Eric and Adam Kauffman in them and I'm like... mmm... drooling all over the place. It's so exciting! I can't wait for more pictures to come out as season 4 promo shots, see how they organize the team and dress them and everything

It's kinda long and they probably could of done it in 12 hrs instead of 20.. but it's very well done. I remember watching a interview with EC and I think it was Craig Kilborn who asked him what it was like meeting Steven Speilberg... and Eric said that he never saw him once. It was too funny. Everyone probably thought they would get to work with the master of SciFi and I don't think he showed up once on the set. Anyway... Enjoy it!! Dakota Fanning is wonderful!!

I'm really excited, it's on tonight and my mom said I have to tape it because it's like four hours long tonight or something, but I don't care. I'm excited. I'm not really into scifi stuff (I love 'Independence Day' and the MIB movies but not 'X-Files' or 'Stargate' or anything) but this I'm willing to give a try.
Thanks for the info. It's a shame Eric didn't meet Spielberg, that would have been cool.

Taken was good but way way way way too long. Especially for those of us in it only to see Eric, who had very little except in the first and last installments. Here they showed an hour a week, for ... I don't even know how many weeks. Seemed like forever!
Hope you enjoy it though!

At first I only watched it for Eric of course but then I downloaded all the episodes and I have them all on cds now (a cd for an episode phewww lol). Sure I don't watch them often because it's long, but i'm sure i'd want to see them again one day. And you're right SB, Dakota Fanning is amazing in this show.

I was wrong, they only had two hours tonight. I taped it though and will watch it tomorrow. It looked good in the promos, but promos aren't always right, are they??
I'm not sure if they're showing the whole thing in little installments consecutively or not, knowing our programmers they would just give us that bit tonight and leave it be, but I hope there'll be more... or I hope I like it and they do that anyway.
To stay on topic, does anyone have any other pics of Poppy and Eric they could post? Any new ones someone has dug up? Haven't seen any new ones in awhile.
(Oh and off topic, sorry mods! But I saw Eric Close today on cable in a rerun of the 'Martin Short Show' around the time 'Now and Again' came out. He was awesome and funny.)

Was that the one where he's wearing leather pants and catches gummy bears in his mouth? ;D He does a good interview. Not many people do, but he's pretty good. He was on the Craig Kilborn show a couple of times and was really good on there also. The one that stands out in my mind is when he was talking about when he did Amazing Treasures in England and brought his wife and kids along... making a vacation out of it and he thought it would be a good idea to rent a Winnebego type thing .... the kids weren't strapped in the back and between driving on the other side of the road and driving this huge house on wheels, he kept stopping... and what happens when you stop? Things in the back come forward.. so the kids were slipping and sliding all over the place.. they hated it.. he said that when they're misbehaving.. he threatens them with going on another road trip.. It was really funny.

Man, he sounds like the greatest dad and husband. His family is very lucky - as I'm sure he is to have them.

He was throwing them up in the air and catching them with his mouth!! So.. picture this: EC.... EC in leather pants.... EC in leather pants throwing Gummy Bears up in the air..... EC in leather pants, throwing Gummy Bears up in the air and catching them in him mouth. Which.. I think he did 3 times. It was very exciting!! He also told the story of how he met his wife. I have to admit.. when I first got a copy of his appearance on Martin Short.. I thought he was going to be on that Jimney Glick show MS does. I had forgotten he actually had a real talk show.

Hey SeptemberBaby - sorry my quote was screwed up! I went over to an EC fansite and they had screencaps of the leather pants interview (CUTE!) and I was able read the transcripts of a bunch of other interviews: www.ericclose.net/gallery/cpg/ If you have a desire to see them I highly rec it. He seems like a good interview. And he just loves his wife and family. He's that guy that gives girls that damn Cinderella complex. ;D

(hey, I'm not talking about broke a family, hu? I'm just saying that there are NOT many mens who loves their families the way Eric always let us know he do)
