Carol!
Thanks for the spoiler... but seriously? Another possible death? Didn't they try to do that with their Season 1 Finale aka the car accident debacle and no one ended up dead?
And even before that... Didn't they try to kill Lamar off with that heart attack of his?
Gesh.... You can tell the show is running out on ideas these days...

I bet that Peggy could die too . For me , she is the logical option and I would love it . But I don´t trust in the writers .

Hiya everyone! And here's the episode sumamry for the Season 2 Midseason Finale. The highlight of this episode... they are 'annoucing' that they are killing someone off. Gesh... Talk about being a little desperate in getting people to tune in there. You usually don't go 'spilling the beans' like that unless you're really, really, really desperate for ratings. I have to agree with Carol there. That's definitely Rayna with Teddy in the picture there. Not sure what the whole scene is about, but it seemed like she was interupting them.

Hiya everyone! Whoa... Instead of promoting this week's episode, they are already working hard on promoting the Midseason Finale. Interestingly enough, they are having Eric doing the majority of the promotion. At least for the Glamour interview, it was Eric doing the majority of it with Connie wrapping it up. Episode 2.10 - 'Tomorrow Never Comes'
Interview w/ EricWednesday, 12/4/2013 at 3:30PM Whoa, There's a Major Death Coming to Nashville! Eric Close and Connie Britton Preview What's Ahead by Jessica Radloff Last month when I visited the set of Nashville (which, in case you were wondering, is indeed in Nashville), I was sworn to secrecy on a major plot development that is going to occur in time for the midseason finale on December 11. More shocking than a lesbian hook-up or Peggy using pig's blood to fake a miscarriage? Yep. Someone is leaving the series when their character gets killed in a shocking turn of events. Of course, I can't tell you who exactly that is—but I'm curious to find out who from the possibilities below you guys think it's going to be: 1) Luke Wheeler(played by Will Chase): Just when things are looking up for Rayna in her romantic life, could things take a tragic turn? 2) Layla Grant (played by Aubrey Peeples): Did her double-crossing Juliette go too far? 3) Will Lexington (played by Chris Carmack): Has Edgehill Record's control turned him into somebody he doesn't even recognize anymore? 4) Scarlett O'Connor (played by Clare Bowen): She has everything ready for the taking, but she still can't find happiness. 5) Peggy Kenter (played by Kimberly Williams-Paisley): Will Teddy discover she is a fraud and never really was pregnant? 6) Teddy Conrad (played by Eric Close) On top of being a shrewd political figure, he's crossed Lamar again. That never bodes well, does it? 7) Tandy Hampton (played by Judith Hoag): How will she hold up under the pressure of selling out her father? Tell me in the comments section below! Meanwhile, while I was on set I caught up with Eric Close and Connie Britton to chat about life in Nashville, love interests, and more. Eric Close (Mayor Teddy Conrad)Glamour: We have to talk about Ms. Crazy Pants Peggy. She's so out of control, which makes me wonder—why did Teddy never ask her for an ultrasound picture of the baby?
Eric: That’s a good question. I think maybe he’s so focused on the other stuff going on that he’s had. I’m sure maybe behind the scenes she’s like, "Oh sure, I forgot to do that, I have to ask," or "It’s a little too early at this point for that." Glamour: Earlier in the season we saw Rayna wonder if Teddy wanted to get back together with her. Do you think years from now that could be a possibility?
Eric: Maybe one day in the rest home. [ Laughs] I don’t know. In the hopeless romantic’s world—and I’m a hopeless romantic myself—I think it would be great to see them come back together. I’m a sucker for that kind of story. I know there are fans out there that want Teddy and Rayna to get back together, so maybe at a different time in their life it may work. Glamour: On a personal note, you are married with two kids, ages 12 and 15, and spend nine-plus months out of the year in Nashville. Aside from geographically, how has life changed for you since the show premiered?
Eric: I have to tell you, in my career, I’ve never really experienced anything like it. I’ve been doing this for a couple decades now, and the level of the fans excitement is something I've never seen. I get to meet a lot of really cool people, which has opened up a lot of amazing opportunities for me. Glamour: And the downside?
Eric: I’ve had times where I’m in the middle of eating with my family and someone will stick a camera in my face, and I say, "Hey, if you don’t mind, can you wait until I’m done?" because I’m always up for signing autographs or taking pictures. But people get excited, which I understand, especially if it’s out of context and they are at dinner and see someone and say, "Oh my gosh, that’s Teddy" But for the most part, people are really cool. I tried to avoid the honkey-tonk places because that’s when they are drinking, and it can get a little wild. [Laughs] Glamour: Let's play word association. Tell me the first word that comes to mind when you think of each costar. Go!
Eric: OK, great. Connie Britton: Focused. Hayden Panettiere: Spitfire. Lennon and Maisy Stella: Lovable. Sam Palladio: Hipster. Chris Carmack: Texas. He’s just cool. I like him. Jonathan Jackson: Caring. Clare Bowen: Ethereal. Kimberly Williams-Paisiley: Lovely. Chip Esten: One of my dear friends. Full of life. Fun. For my interview with Connie Britton, we hunkered down in a corner of Rayna's glorious country mansion. What you won't see in that particular episode (which will air in January) is that when Rayna walks from the hallway into the kitchen and then the living room, I'm hiding in the hallway, trying so hard not to make a sound! Connie was so gracious and kept running back to talk to me between takes. Glamour: OK, I'm going to whisper so [director] Callie Khouri doesn't throw me out. [Laughs] Who does Rayna truly belong with?
Connie Britton: Deacon! Glamour: Well, Eric just told me he's holding out hope for a reunion with Teddy one day!
Connie: Haha! That's so cute! Aww, but I think Deacon. Although that’s horrible because I love Teddy too. Glamour: Has the singing on the show gotten any less nerve-racking for you now that you're well into season two?
Connie: Well, yeah, it has actually. I’m really having fun with it. Glamour: You have a fraternal twin sister. So what’s her hair like?
Connie: Oh! [ Laughs] Her hair is thick too, but hers is darker than mine, and it’s really, really curly. We don’t look alike at all. Glamour: What do you wish your could savor more about your 20s and 30s?
Connie: If I could go back and do it again, I probably would have worried less. Though I have to say, I had a pretty good time! [ Laughs] I sort of enjoyed it all the way through! But there was definitely a lot of worry and concern that things wouldn’t work out, and you never know at the time if they will, but they always do. An all-new episode of Nashville airs tonight! Meanwhile, who do you think is going to die in the midseason finale?
