I liked the eppy. I think it was really well done. I could actually be sympathetic to Jack. The parts that I'm fearful of are:
Martin knows that Sam is pregnant. Jack will probably change his ways and we might see J/S in the future. I know the first part for sure. The second part I'm fearful of.

I'm always nervous being one of the first to post. I thought the episode was fantastic. I liked the way they cut to flashbacks to tell the entire story, I enjoyed Jack's "out of body" experiences, as it is adding a different element to the story. I liked that Martin was present and accounted for and I noticed we didn't have Elena until 22 minutes into the ep. Elena's absence really allowed Viv and Martin some screen time. Sam was in there just enough. Danny was fairly absent as well. I will probably try not to read too many other posts if it is going to be bitter and angry. I'm thrilled to have WAT back, and don't want anyone to spoil this feeling.
I honestly hope everyone enjoyed having the show back.

I caught the last 30 minutes of this episode. I haven't seen the show since Sam announced her pregnancy. I thought it was pretty good. I'm glad I only caught 30 minutes of it though. I hate the "Jack hallucinates" episodes. He's always pondering his life and why it's so screwed up, but he never changes anything. I could do with out all the Jack angst.
Sam being pregnant's kinda weird. Martin sure is taking it well. I'm still bothered by how the writers seem to think that no one has a past history except Jack and Sam.
Next week looks promising, but if it's going to be Sam crying and confessing love for Jack and more Jack hallucinations, I'm going to have to pass.

I hate to be the first to post, although, I am the first to post alot. I am glad that WAT is back. I was expecting to tune out of the eppy and I was watching on the edge of my seat until the last second. I thought the episode was complex and was leading us to want to know more. I have my own ideas of why Jack went vigilante because of the allusions they gave. I almost like that they didn't tie it all up because they can give more details when he wakes up. I sympathized with Jack in this eppy and I didn't expect to. Bottom line, I will be tuning in for more...

Well I did have some problems with this ep: Should have been called a "Hard Sell" not a "Hard Reset"
1. Wasn't it handy that Jack found that piece of cloth on the floor.
2. These bad guys must be complete idiots. They didn't ck to see if Jack was still alive? And when they dispose of the body why didn't they just drop Jack off some bridge. And why disapose of the gun so near the body? Fanfic writers wouldn't have written something like that.
3. And the scenes with Jack and Sam at the candy machine where Jack tells her she makes good decisions...uh...she got pregnant on a one-night stand with a stranger and they didn't even use a condom? Sam fell in love with Jack when he was married and then carried on an affair? (And I won't go into the fact that she was too ashamed to admit to the team that she and Martin were lovers and appeared to be happy for a while. She could have had it all with Martin but blew it.)

Even Sam didn' quite agree with jacks comment about her making good decisions.
I liked seeing the team back at the table, with the board; without elena. Vivians great when she is in charge. She really plays her scenes well. I found this episode kept my interest.... the way they brought everything together. Nice to see a little of the old WAT back.

I really liked this episode, everything about it. Sam, Jack, Viv, Marty ("she is hormonal")... everything was perfect to me. And heard Viv talking in french was so funny, I love her accent, it was so sweet LOL . It was excellent come back for wat. I can't wait for next week

I guess I didn't like this ep because there is nothing sympathic about Jack. He got what he deserved. He screwed his marriage up and chose the blond office help over his kids. He went behind Vivian's back and went Rambo on Human Trafficing guy, which got him shot. Also, because he is the star of the show and wasn't going to die, there was no tension, angst or drama. The false 'race against the clock ' crap meant nothning. He got shot because he was stupid.
I agree with some of the points that 'PJINNH' made above, the 'handy' white cloth within arms reach that wasn't there when he got shot was laughable, just so we could see him grunt, please! The world's worst bad men who never checked for a pulse or signs of life, and left him face up in shallow water. And the 'poor poor pitiful me' crying in the beer confession jack made to Viv about how he screws up everything in his life. Vivian wasn't buying it, neither did I. Enough already.
And that 'sage' like advise he gave to Sam, that she makes good decisions WHen? Her track record stands for itself.
The only good thing that might be worth rooting for is that by the finale ep, the OPR investigation will have Jack suspended indefinately. Put Vivian in charge and get the show back on course.

I actually liked tonights episode!! Jack i have to admit irritates me when he goes on the whole do it alone path!! However that aside it was pretty good!! Viv is hard core and she is gonna be fuming with Jack!! I like Martins 'Shes hormonal' comment about time they got a bit of screen time!! I even appreciated Sams freak out about the prospect of parenthood, just a shame it had to be with Jack!!

Didn't see the episode; but regarding Jack's comment of 'Sam making good decisions', he's certainly changed his tune. Didn't he tell her before that she makes 'the worst decisions regarding her personal life?'
Another slip-up by the writers (big surprise, huh?)

I admit I liked it. I will post more coherent thoughts later but I actually found myself enjoying it. I think it helped that there was a lot of team time.
Viv should always be in charge!

I hated this episode. Too much was crammed into the episode after too long of a break for me to easily follow the plot.
I, too, found the shooting and disposing of the "body" laughable. However provoked they may have been, I hated it when Sam pinched the madam's wound and Viv fired the gun near Romar's ear. It was particularly out of character for Viv.
"She's hormonal." That's it for Martin's reaction to Sam's pregnancy? Why did they even bother?
Worst Episode of the Series - at least until next week's.

One more thing. I'm sick of Jack having epiphany after epiphany yet never changing. Much as I'd like to believe this near death experience will (finally) change him, I doubt it.
