I had to admitted that this was more of the most realistic MP cases I ever saw this season. I felt so sorry for the MP but the ending, I don't get it and so weird!
ajsqdaway, I agreed with you. Martin sure looked good in his lighty colored suit. That suit makes him more droolable! Also, thanks for the caps, Sharon and can't wait to see what mimi got!

I don't think it was clear: did the boyfriend actually die from an accidental overdose or did the creepy guy kill him, per orders from the step dad?

Pretty much thought about the same way as most everyone here. It was looking to be one of the best MP stories this year but the end was disappointing. As usual the writers can't carry a story all the way thru. Glad there was no personal stuff(J/S) That whole bed and stars thing was really weird!! I went online this morning before work just to make sure that this wasn't the episode that EC directed!!( Tho I knew it wasn't--I like the camera angles ,etc he uses)

If you had asked me that throughout season three, I'd have said no, but nowadays everything is possible.

Yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....that Martin did look quite handsome in that beige suit of his!! We sure didn't get to see much of him in this episode though.....not nearly enough!! I am like with the others that the MP story was one of the best this year. Give Anthony LaPaglia some credit since he was half the creator of the storyline for this episode!! What I saw happening in last night's episode was the story was moving right along...all was very compelling and then it was like all of a sudden...they knew that they didn't have any time left to get it all in an episode and they had to end it in a fast way!! That was when I think the story got very weird and did not end well. But all in all not a bad episode....I would have liked to seen more team interaction....but then I guess we would not have seen the "flying bed"!!!

Yes, Sharon, thanks for the caps! Yes. Martin is droolable in those lighter colors but you know - that one with the FBI vest is pretty hot.
I forgot to add a "weird" - I'm not diggin' Sam's orange/red/carrot hair. She had such nice hair! Jeeze, I sound like I'm talkin' to my daughter!
I also have to agree that the story was pretty good, but it did lose something at the end; apart from the flying bed, that is. It's sad, losing heart like that and I guess I can understand it but does anyone really think she believed in the essence of the ceremony? Did she just give up or did she kinda believe in the spirits joining thing?

it is weird how there was a flying bed in the end. it kinda scared my friend and me. lol but i liked the MP. and i almost cried in the end when she died. but it's good that she's with frankie. and there were some funny comments in this that i had to laugh out loud for. totally liked the lack of personal stuff. you can only take so much jack and samantha. oh and i can't forget martin in his suit. HOT!!!

I don't think it was clear: did the boyfriend actually die from an accidental overdose or did the creepy guy kill him, per orders from the step dad? I do believe he died from a drug overdose - I think he was trying to stay clean, but once he went to work for her father (delivering kidneys etc) he said it was too much for him to take and he went back to the drugs to cope.

Yeah, that's what I thought. But then I thought that maybe Step Dad was behind it.

Am I the only one that find this episode boring ? LOL, apparently. I found the story a little bit confused and the end...well...weird ! No, mimi, you're not the only one, lol. But last week's episode completely exhausted me, so I wasn't going to comment on this one, but here goes... The cases bore me now. I think that I don't find the concept of the show interesting anymore. But I thought that this particular MP was better than others, because I actually thought that the guest cast was really good, which has been a major complaint of mine lately. In fact, I thought that the guest cast did a better job than our regulars during this episode. Did anyone else think that they looked bored? And at the end, Sam didn't seem the least bit affected by the MP's death... Weird. Also, when the whole episode focuses on the case, we get more invested in it, and that hasn't happened in a long time. As far as the flying bed, that was just the director being artsy and doing a bad job of it, lol. I sure hope that Eric doesn't try anything like that next week! And did you see the close-up of Jack's arm on the father when was leading him away? Look! Compassionate!Jack!! Bad directing again, IMO. Although it's nice to see that Jack can show a little humanity to a complete stranger. Just don't be his subordinate, or God forbid, his friend, because then you're in trouble. Sorry, I'm still a bit upset, I guess, lol. Going back to the direction, I didn't like the slo-mo kiss between the MP and the boyfriend. But all in all, I thought that the story was pretty good except for the end being rushed and I wish that ALP would write more of them. He did a good job IMO, although he sure has dark mind, lol. Stolen kidneys? Ritual murder? LOL And of course the MP had to die just as they were coming for her, lol. So, there was no tension between Jack and Martin, like the smackdown from hell never happened. We all know that the writers don't care much about follow-up, but this is ridiculous. ETA: Thank you so much sor the caps mimi and Sharon!!

If it is the John Polson I am thinking of, he has produced and directed other episodes of WAT over the last season or two. He also directed a couple of episodes of "The Mentalist", "Fringe" and has also acted in many movies, including Mission Impossible (just some of what he has done). You would think with this much experience he would do a good job. Oh, and yes he is an Aussie, perhaps thats his problem, a weird sence of humour.
