Hope I'm posting this in the right place. Feel free to move it if deemed necessary! I spotted this interesting little article which says the man himself, Mr Jerry Bruckheimer, APPROVES ALL THE SCRIPTS before shooting begins. (This also applies to the other Bruckheimer shows) The link is:- winnipegsun.com/Entertainment/Television/2008/01/15/4773406-sun.htmlSo the buck stops with him. He seems to be the man responsible for our misery!

Wonderful! Another name on my Kill Bill. What's wrong with him? Dosn't he realize that WaT is falling? That the real fans are now watching NCIS? This looks like TXF all over again... Anyhoo, thank you for the info!

^^ The X-Files (2 could mean the second movie).
This doesn't surprise me. Most producers at least glance through the scripts. I've seen producers actually talk to the cast about the scripts and hold meetings with the writers to make decisions. At the end of the day, it's his show, he's going to want to call the shots.
He needs to listen to his fan base, though, beor he makes crucial errors. I've seen ignorance sink shows.

He must be a busy guy if he gets approval on all the scripts to his many TV shows!

I think that these producers are such creative people that they lose interest in their older projects after they've moved on to this or that creative endeavor. He may be looking at/approving the scripts, but I doubt he has much of a real interest in the show anymore. The whole thing reminds me of Joss Whedon and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. After the first three years, he handed the reins over to someone, a female, can't remember her name, and the whole show went steadily downhill. Whedon had gotten into a different show (Firefly) and put all of his energy and time into that. Susan

I feel so out of the loop... how bad has WaT gotten in season 6? I know nothing about it except that Sam is pregnant. I only stopped watching because I was annoyed with Delgado, and hate the relationship angle the show took with Danny/Elena, and I didn't feel the episodes after season 3 really did as good a job at telling the missing persons stories as the eps of those first three (beautiful and brilliant) seasons. I saw a comment about how this could be "The X-Files" all over again LOL How so? Too many new characters, less focus on the original main characters? Fill me in ~Cassie
