Per a request from Sandid, we need to have a place that offers hope and optimism. So let's make this one a positive thread. We can only say things we LIKE about the show. Be they old things or new but they have to be positive! Negative ones will be deleted.
ME:
I like Martin and Danny banter. Especially when Danny pokes fun at Martin. ;D

I like:
Jack when he gets angry. He's really hot. When he makes witty replies (who the hell's Hillary Duff?) or jokes. I love his black suit, I love his raspy voice and how he can be sweet ( like he was with Anne and with that bitch Maria ) and I love how he's with his daughters.
Viv, the woman rocks. She can be motehrly, sweet but also mean and cold when interrogating a suspect. She'll make a great boss. I also love the way she always has protected Marty, she was the only one who actually smiled when he first joined the team.
Danny. Well, what can I say, he's a guy's guy. Street wisdom is always sexy. I love the way he used to be with Marty. The way he's with Elena and with Sophie.
Elena. She's hot and she doesn't brag about it. She's cool and funny.
And Marty....
I love: how shy he can be, how angry he can get (A Tree Falls), how sweet he is. His smile, the way he dresses, his hair, how geeky he is, his love for food.
And no, I didn't forget about Samantha.

I like how the team gets along and how they usually complete each other, either it's in the ideas or sentences!
I like it that we slowly find out details about the characters and their lives!

I like how the show incorporates music that either helps define the character (such as Evanescence Bring Me To Life in Exposure -- that rocked!) of defines a mood or relationship -- A Reason to Mourn [sorry, I don't know the artist off hand] Martin and Danny in The Road Home.

I love the banter between the team. I love it when they openly tease each other.
I love Jack's glasses
I love how the ladies on team can hold their own against the boys. Sometimes I think Sam and Viv are tougher then the boys!
I agree with Stephell that the music is wonderful and only adds to the show.

As this was my idea I had better post a comment (or two).
Firstly, I love the show. The missing person stories have always been very good, I really can't remember any real bad ones. Secondly, the cast is tops. They should have received a lot of awards for ensemble cast at the Emmy's, but, alas. EC should have at least been nominated for an Emmy after season four. Hell! Oops! can I say that, if Katherine Heigle can get one. The actors themselves do a sterling job on the show. My personal favourite is EC, I love everything he has done. He has done a brilliant job as Martin right from the first eppie, and, even though at times he has been given some dumb (for want of a better discription) things to do, as an actor Eric has pulled them off professionally. (Oscar material). Even after all these years and with season six in limbo WAT is still my favourite show on TV and DVD.

Just found this thread. Great idea : a salve for some of the bitterness that we all feel at times concerning WAT. The show: After 6 seasons I don't expect every episode to be great but I still think on the whole the mp stories are pretty good. I still enjoy the story and the investigation process. As mentioned before, I like the musical selections. Some have been incredible in pulling the whole piece together.
The team: Always liked the stories where there is alot of team interaction They all play well off each other. I also like the spots when they tease or joke around with the other. Danny and Martin interaction was always sure to bring a smile . Jack: great actor. I love his approach to suspects, etc and I love his silly wisecracks. I personally liked the soft side of Jack we saw when he was with Anne. Viv: truely a great agent encompassing compassion and steelness in her approach to the various people she deals with. I like her friendship she offered Martin in the earlier seasons. Sam: I like when she opens up alittle and when she really gets tied up in a case, Love the early banter with her and the boys, Danny; Love the old joking around but really serious agent he is. I like his street smarts and how he is really a soft sesitive guy underneath. I also loved his scenes with Martin. Martin: Saved the best for last. Handsome smart and considerate young agent .I liked watching him grow in the show. I love when they have him use his eyes and facial expressions to show how a case is affecting him He is really good at showing concern for his fellow team members,

I loved everything about WaT. I loved everything from the stories to the setting of the Missing Person office to the characters but most of all, I love Martin Fitzgerald. I love anything that is Martin related. I love his sensitive side, angry side, romantic side, his sense of humor, his good looks, and the types of food he like (Hey, Marty. We liked the same food especially the burger YUM.) If you could, PLEASE marry me!!!!!!!!!

Even thought the MP stories aren't as they used to, I like how the team seems affected by every case, not because it's related to something that happenned in their past, but because they care.
Danny Martin screen time, of course.
I love how EC can work with the very, ver little they gave him about Martin's addiction - almost as he knows it isn't enough, so he makes the best out of it.
Jack's PTS - if that's what it is - getting harder and harder every season, the way his job seems to affect him and his life. In fact, of all characters, Jack's the one who's storyline always kept itself interesting and consistent, at least to me.

I like the way we learn about the central characters by the way they react to each of their cases (MP), and the discussions that they have regarding said missing person. WAT has a great cast of talented actors and considering they only get about 45 minutes each episode to find their MP and hopefully reveal something about themselves, it is a fantastic show and very different from other cop shows.

I enjoy the way the entire team is supportive of one another, even if they are disappointed or angry with each other you know they have each others backs.
I like that Martin is always hopeful of the good in people and the care he shows for Danny....(even when he calls him "brother")
I like that Danny is sensitive and seems to enjoy the bond he shares with Martin.
I always have hope that Sam will be OK. She seems to have so many issues but compassion for the people she encounters.
Viv is a strong woman, who I think all of us women could learn from.
I like that Jack is flawed. The job has taken it's toll on him emotionally and that sometimes clouds his judgement.
Elena gives Sam someone to relate to, and she makes Danny happy.

I like the fact that there are still some fans here who are still finding something good on the show, a reason to keep watching.

I like it when one of the agents can relate to the MP on some sort of personal level, allowing us to not only empathize with the MP but also get a glimpse into their personal life.

since jen mentioned it - I like they can relate to the MP and be affected just because it's a sad story or a sad person, not because "they had a thing in their past that is now hunting them yada yada yada".
