New Article in TV Guide-Feb. 25-Mar.2

I just got my new TV Guide for the next week and I opened it to an article about when our favorite shows will be returning with new episodes. The small article about WAT said this..."6 episodes start April 3rd. Costar Eric Close says the show may focus on Samantha's pregnancy, "Maybe one of us will come alongside her to help support her with the child," he teases. "I don't know who that's going to be, but that might be one of the things that happens."

Well that will be a dream come true for me if that happens with Martin "close" (Hee Hee) by to help her out! I just don't want it to happen with JACK!!! UGH!

I guess we will see what happens next soon. Hope we will end this year on a great couple of episodes....SMARTY style!!

Right now, I'm not sure about anything. Sam's pregnancy *has* to be a storyline to focus on... unless they forget about it... but I don't trust the writers, or whoever it is, to do a fine job.

Anyway, let's hope for the best.

It's totally going to be Martin, otherwise ALP would have been the one to spill the beans.

Just wait until Martin and Sam take off again, PM and ALP with figure out some way to torpedo it.

Ok, I'm trying to not get *any* hopes up. I bet it is strategic that he states something like that considering they had a pretty big storyline going when the strike happened and they need to keep the hype up. I'm going to tell myself that it will be Brian or Jack..never Martin. Then if it is, the screaming will be even louder!!

My little MS heart is wishing that the writers actually had time to listen to our complaining and depression during the strike and might actually try to make us happy. <Pause> Yeah, I didn't think so.

Btw, should I bring my paddle?

Do you think they had to rewrite/plan the whole season or will they just condense it or extend the plot into next season because of the strike?

Me I hope is Jack because He have experience with children and Sam need someone with experience

Uh, Samsam...please to forgive but Jack's only experience with his kids is how to screw up and forget he has them...

I'm looking for my bottle (of optimism juice) but so far all I'm finding is the Kool-aid...I will not watch 'cause despite it being EC spilling the possible beans...I'm not thinking its him...It's Jack or no one (or Brian) But I'm in for going to EC and letting him have it...or at least to look longingly at him.

They always have teasing things to say about what is going to happen. I think EC likes to joke around like that because I remember seeing him on some entertainment show joking about them all getting blood tests done to see who the father is. So I am not going to hold my breath ,hoping the writers listened to the MAJORITY of fans, and decided to Smarty up but will join in the happy screaming session if it does happen. Could you imagine how many of us will log on to share the joy!!!

Well, there's always a grain of truth in every little tease and I remember EC teasing saying something about paternity tests and Sam is pushing Brian to sign paternity papers so there you go...as for who my guess it...it's Elena (nothing sexual or anything) but now it will be two single females raising their kids...Holy JTS again, batman

i'd like to be optimistic, but maybe it's a ploy to get all the smarties who jumped ship interested again. they really shouldn't do this, though, if they cry wolf too many times, they're no longer going to get anyone to come back watching.

a thought: maybe they had a brainstorming session with hank during the hiatus and he's whipped them into seeing the light?

That quote sounds to me like a tease. It is so vague and full of "maybe's". Also, I usually discount what I read in TV Guide. Howe often have they been right?

If this does happen and Jack is the one to step up, I will know the writers are crazy, stupid, etc., etc,

they wrote Malone v. Malone and had Jack admit he wasn't cut out to be a father or a husband. then, Anne got pregnant and he wasn't happy about it. He was "done" raising kids.

and to have Adam (Brian) be the one? He spends one night with Sam and he becomes the love of her life? Jump the shark does not cover this situation no matter how you look at it.

but, as I said, I don't put much creditibility to TV Guide.
