Hiya everyone! Here are the prelim ratings for last night's episode. I got news and bad news... I suppose the good news first. Despite the return of heavyweights 'Smallville', 'Fringe' and 'Friday Nights'... 'CHAOS' managed NOT to loose ratings. I was particular worried of them loosing a lot of viewers to 'Smallville'. Bad news is... that even though didn't loose out ratings, they didn't particular inrease in ratings as well. I suppose they have managed to 'level' out now. Here's Deadline report first. They only list the 18-49 demo range numbers. [glow=red,2,300]Episode 1.03 -

Prelim Ratings[/glow]RATINGS RAT RACE: 'Shark Tank' Rises; 'Smallville' Up, 'FNL' Down In ReturnBy NELLIE ANDREEVA | Saturday April 16, 2011 @ 10:30am PDT ABC (1.5/5 in adults 18-49, 4.9 million viewers) won Friday night among adults 18-49 with a consistent ratings performance, topping every night of primetime in the demo (including a tie with Fox's Kitchen Nightmares at 8 PM). In the 8 PM hour, Shark Tank (1.5/6) hit a season high, up 25% from last week. Newsmagazines Primetime: What Would You Do? (1.4/4) and 20/20 (1.5/5) were flat. After a four-week hiatus, the CW Friday lineup returned last night for Smallville's final five episodes. The veteran comic book-inspired drama (2.3 million, 1.0/3 in 18-49) was up 5% in viewers and 11% in 18-49 from its last original. Supernatural (2.2 million, 0.9/3 in 18-49) was also up 5% in viewers while down a tenth in 18-49. In its third week, CBS' Chaos (0.9/3) stopped the bleeding, even with last Friday. It tied as the lowest-rated program of the night with Supernatural and the final season premiere of Friday Night Lights (0.9/3) on NBC, which was down 25% from last season's debut May 7. Back-to-back Datelines followed (1.2/4, 1.5/5). After a three-week hiatus, Fox's Fringe (1.3/4) returned down a tenth from its last original, while Kitchen Nightmares (1.5/6) was flat. Source: DeadlineAnd here's the Hollywood Reporter article. They do state that CBS aired repeats of 'CSI: NY' and 'Blue Bloods'. In addition, I'm a bit weary of Smallville' making the No. 1 spot for the men 18-34 demo there. I guess we will know more once the final numbers in. Overall, based on the prelim ratings, 'CHAOS' didn't so bad in the total overall numbers... only coming at No. 2 after 'Dateline'... which might change once the final numbers are in. **** 'Friday Night Lights,' 'Fringe' Return Down in RatingsThe CW's one-two punch "Smallville" and "Supernatural" are up in total viewers. April 16 12:56 PM 4/16/2011 by Philiana Ng It was a mixed bag on Friday night. With several cult shows returning, some were up while others weren’t so lucky. After four weeks off the air, the CW was back in originals with the last episodes of Smallville (2.3 million, 1.0). The Tom Welling-starrer was up 5 percent in total viewers and 11 percent in the 18-49 demo from its last new episode. Smallville also tied for No. 1 in the 8 p.m. hour in the men 18-34 demo. A new Supernatural (2.2 million, 0.9) followed at 9 p.m., growing 5 percent in total viewers but down in demo. Fox’s Fringe — partially animated this week with an “appearance” by Leonard Nimoy — also returned after a brief hiatus, but the hype didn’t match up in the ratings. The sci-fi drama (3.6 million, 1.3) tied a series low in the demo and in total viewers. Kitchen Nightmares (3.8 million, 1.5) led off. Even with a dip in the ratings, Fox still placed second on the night in the 18-49 demo. Over at NBC, Friday Night Lights (3.5 million, 0.9) debuted its final season on the broadcast network (though it recently finished its run on DirecTV), down double digits from last season’s NBC launch in early May. Dateline (5.7 million, 1.3) followed. CBS’ rookie series Chaos (5.5 million, 0.9) tied last week’s low, not making a strong case for a renewal. CSI: NY and Blue Bloods were repeats. ABC took the demo win for Friday, with Shark Tank (5.4 million, 1.5), Who Do You Think You Are? (4.3 million, 1.4) and 20/20 (5.1 million, 1.5) ranking No. 1 in their respective time slots. Shark Tank posted the net’s best numbers in viewers in more than one year. (The South has been experiencing massive storms for the past few days, which could be having an effect on the ratings.) Hiya everyone! And here's Pifeedback for last night's ratings that include the ratings for the repeast of CSI: NY and Blue Bloods. At least you can get the overall picture on how CBS did last night. Overall, CBS DID win last night in terms of total numbers of viewers despite all the returns of the heavyweights. In addition to that, CHAOS did make it the No. 1 in the total numbers of viewers for the 8pm timeslot. [glow=red,2,300]Episode 1.03 -

Prelim Ratings[/glow]Marc Bergman writes on Saturday, April 16, 2011: Friday 4/15/11 -Total Viewers: CBS: 6.90 million, NBC: 4.97, ABC: 4.90, Fox: 3.72, CW: 2.27 -Adults 18-49: ABC: 1.5 rating/ 5 share, Fox: 1.4/ 5, NBC: 1.2/ 4, CBS: 1.0/ 3, CW: 0.9/ 3 -------------------- Note: Any prior rating results are based on the final nationals. Since the level of DVR penetration has increased from 33 percent at this same point last year to approximately 38 percent at present, the overall results may be negatively impacted. ---------- -Friday’s Winners: Nothing -Friday’s Losers (excluding repeats): Chaos (CBS), Friday Night Lights (NBC), Fringe (Fox) and the night overall ---------- -Ratings Breakdown: There was little of note on this third Friday in April, with CBS the most-watched network (at under 7-million viewers) and ABC No. 1 among adults 18-49 (with a mere 1.5 rating/5 share in the demo). In season-opening news, the final season of NBC’s Friday Night Lights finished fourth in the 8 p.m. hour with just 3.51 million viewers and a 0.9 rating/3 share among adults 18-49 (tied in the demo with Chaos on CBS). While you have to give NBC credit for finding a way to keep Friday Night Lights alive (by partnering with DirecTV), viewers just never responded en masses to this quality drama. Next on NBC was another two-hour edition of Dateline at 5.70 million viewers (#2) and a 1.4/ 4 in the demo (#1t) from 9-11 p.m. Week three of aforementioned CBS drama Chaos remained a bust with 5.52 million viewers (#1) and a third-place 0.9/ 3 among adults 18-49 (#4t) at 8 p.m. All together now…tick, tock…the cancellation clock is ticking. That led into repeats of CSI: NY (Viewers: #1, 7.30 million; A18-49: #4, 1.1/ 3) and Blue Bloods (Viewers: #1, 7.88 million; A18-49: #3, 1.0/ 3) from 9-11 p.m. Over at ABC, recent returnee Shark Tank did not impress (nor did anything else for the evening), with 5.36 million viewers (#2) and a 1.5/ 6 among adults 18-49 (#1t) at 8 p.m. Next was Primetime: Primetime Live (Viewers: #3, 4.26 million; A18-49: #1, 1.4/ 4 at 9 p.m.), followed by veteran 20/20 at 5.09 million viewers (#3) and a 1.5/ 5 in the demo at 10 p.m. (#1t). Elsewhere, Fox filled the evening with original episodes of Kitchen Nightmares (Viewers: #3, 3.80 million; A18-49: #1t, 1.5/ 6) and Fringe (Viewers: #4, 3.63 million; A18-49: #2, 1.3/ 4), which is returning next season despite the anemic Friday results. And The CW had original installments of soon-to-conclude Smallville (Viewers: #5, 2.33 million; A18-49: #3, 1.0/ 3), which is no doubt ready to end, and Supernatural (Viewers: #5, 2.20 million; A18-49: #5, 0.9/ 3), which is likely to move to 8 p.m. next season. Hiya everyone! I was checking things at Zap2It and TVByTheNumbers for last night's episode and realized that I didn't post stuff for Episode 1.02. So here we go... Episode 1.02 first followed by Episode 1.03 in the next post. I have to say that I like the Zap2It article for Episode 1.02. At least they didn't write it completely off and offered an explanation for the drop in ratings. Do ignore the 'Fast Nationals for April 01, 2011', It really should have read 'Fast Nationals for April 08, 2011'. [glow=red,2,300]Episode 1.02 -

Prelim Ratings[/glow]Ratings: CBS Wins Though 'Chaos' Drops, The CW's 'Smallville' Pilot Airing Falls ShortBy Carina Adly MacKenzie April 9, 2011 12:58 PM ET Fast National ratings for Friday, April 1, 2011 CBS drama "Chaos" lost just less than a million viewers in its second episode on this relatively slow night when most networks experienced a bit of a drop. The CW, in anticipation of its series finale, re-aired the "Smallville" pilot episode from 2001, which did slightly better than any other rerun might. CBS topped the night with an average 8.4 million viewers and 5.4 rating/9 share in households. NBC came in second (5.6 million,3.8/7), with ABC in third (4.73 million, 3.8/5), FOX in fourth (2.3 million, 1.5/3) and the CW pulling up the back (1.7 million, 1.1/2). ABC won the 18-49 demo with a 1.4, followed by CBS and NBC, both with a 1.3. Fox came in with 0.9, followed by The CW's 0.7. Friday hour by hour: 8 p.m. NBC: "Who Do You Think You Are?" (5.7 million, 3.8/7) CBS: "Chaos" (5.6 million viewers, 3.6/6 households)ABC: "Shark Tank" (4.4 million, 2.8/5) FOX: "Kitchen Nightmares" rerun (1.7 million, 1.2/2) The CW: "Smallville" rerun (1.9 million, 1.3/2) 18-49 leader: "Who Do You Think You Are?" (1.3) 9 p.m. CBS: "CSI: NY" (9.4 million, 5.9/10) NBC: "Dateline" (5.7 million, 4.0/7) ABC: "Primetime: What Would You Do" (4.4 million, 2.8/5) FOX: "Fringe" rerun (1.7 million,1.2/2) The CW: "Supernatural" rerun (1.5 million, 1.0/2) 18-49 leader: "CSI:NY" (1.6) 10 p.m. CBS: "Blue Bloods" (10.3 million, 6.7/11) NBC: "Dateline" (5.8 million, 4.0/11) ABC: "20/20" (5.0 million, 3.3/6) 18-49 leader: "Blue Bloods" & "20/20" (1.5, tie) Ratings information includes live and same-day DVR viewing. All numbers are preliminary and subject to change, especially in the case of live telecasts. Source: The Nielsen Company. Source: Zap2ItAnd here's TVByTheNumbers coverage for that night. Note that they don't have the half hour break down for the various shows for that night. **** TV Ratings Friday: 'Chaos' Goes Even Lower and Takes 'CSI: NY' & 'Blue Bloods' Down With It; 'Shark Tank' DownBy Robert Seidman– April 9, 2011 ABC’s unscripted lineup bested CBS’s lineup of scripted dramas for supremacy with advertising coveted adults 18-49. Shark Tank was down a tenth from last week to a 1.2 adults 18-49 rating, but CBS’s lineup was down further. As awful as the ratings for Chaos were last week in its premiere, they managed to get uglier, slipping 0.2 to a 0.9 adults 18-49 rating. CSI: NY (1.6) and Blue Bloods (1.5) were each down 0.2 from last Friday. Blue Bloods tied its season low with adults 18-49. The season finale of Who Do You Think You? Are was steady, and won the 8pm hour with a 1.3 adults 18-49 rating. Smallville fans and CW haters, don’t be too quick to jump on the “haha a repeat of Smallville’s pilot was as good as/better than a new Nikita!” bandwagon. The CW was preempted, at least in Chicago for a Chicago Bulls game Source: TVByTheNumbers

Hiya everyone! All right... and here are last night's numbers from Zap2It and TVByTheNumbers. I have to admit... I'm baffled at how well ABC's 'Shark Tank'... In Billy's words... "You're kidding?" On another note, at least this week's no one is blaming 'CHAOS' for dragging the network since CBS actually won the night. [glow=red,2,300]Episode 1.03 -

Prelim Ratings[/glow]TV Ratings: CBS and ABC Split Friday; 'Smallville,' 'Supernatural' Steady In ReturnsBy Rick Porter April 16, 2011 12:57 PM ET National ratings for Friday, April 15, 2011 CBS kept its usual spot on top of Friday's overall ratings even though two of its three shows were in repeats, while ABC snagged a demographic win. "Friday Night Lights" began its final NBC run quietly, "Fringe" was down some and The CW's "Smallville" and "Supernatural" were fairly steady compared to their last original episodes in March. CBS averaged 6.9 million viewers and a 4.3 rating/8 share in households for the night. NBC (5 million, 3.4/5) narrowly beat ABC (4.9 million, 3.1/5) for second place in viewers. FOX came in fourth with 3.7 million viewers and a 2.3/4, and The CW delivered 2.3 million viewers and a 1.4/2. None of the networks did much business in the adults 18-49 demo, but ABC led the way with a 1.5. FOX was close behind at 1.4. NBC averaged 1.2 to take third, followed by CBS, 1.0, and The CW, 0.9. Friday hour by hour: 8 p.m. CBS: "Chaos" (5.5 million viewers, 3.4/6 households)ABC: "Shark Tank" (5.4 million, 3.3/6) FOX: "Kitchen Nightmares" (3.8 million, 2.3/4) NBC: "Friday Night Lights" (3.5 million, 2.3/4) The CW: "Smallville" (2.3 million, 1.4/3) 18-49 leader: "Kitchen Nightmares" and "Shark Tank" tied at 1.5 9 p.m. CBS: "CSI: NY" rerun (7.3 million, 4.6/8) NBC: "Dateline" (5.4 million, 3.7/6) ABC: "Primetime: What Would You Do?" (4.3 million, 2.7/5) FOX: "Fringe" (3.6 million, 2.2/4) The CW: "Supernatural" (2.2 million, 1.4/2) 18-49 leader: "Primetime: What Would You Do?" (1.4) 10 p.m. CBS: "Blue Bloods" rerun (7.9 million, 5.1/9) NBC: "Dateline" (6 million, 4.1/7) ABC: "20/20" (5.1 million, 3.4/6) 18-49 leader: "20/20" and "Dateline" tied at 1.5 Ratings information includes live and same-day DVR viewing. All numbers are preliminary and subject to change. Source: The Nielsen Company. Source: Zap2ItAnd here's TVByTheNumbers coverage. For this week, they do have the half hour breakdown for various shows. As for 'CHAOS', it held steady in the 18-49 demo range, but lost a bit in the total numbers of viewers once they reached the 8:30pm mark. But based on what I have seen, it seems like peope are home around 9pm though. **** TV Ratings Friday: 'Fringe' Ties Series Low; 'Smallville,' 'Shark Tank' Up; 'Friday Night Lights,' 'Supernatural' DownBy Bill Gorman¨C April 16, 2011 After a three week new episode hiatus, Fox¡'s Fringe fell a tenth of a point vs. its last new episode tieing its series low 1.3 adults 18-49 rating. But it¡'s renewed, so no more suffering for fans, that's all reserved for Fox¡'s ad revenue! Leading off the night for Fox, Kitchen Nightmares drew a 1.5 adults 18-49 rating, even with its last new episode. The surprise of the night was ABC's Shark Tank, up 25% to a 1.5 adults 18-49 rating. Primetime: What Would You Do? drew a 1.4 adults 18-49 rating, even with last week. At 10pm, 20/20's 1.5 adults 18-49 rating was also the same as last week. ABC topped the nights adults 18-49 ratings overall. The return of Smallville for its final five new episodes was up a tenth of a point to a 1.0 adults 18-49 rating. At 9pm, Supernatural¡'s 0.9 adults 18-49 rating was down a tenth from its last new episode. The premiere of the final season of Friday Night Lights drew just a 0.9 adults 18-49 rating, down 25% from last season¡¯s May 7 premiere. That tied CBS laggard Chaos (the only new CBS show on the night) for the bottom of the ratings ranks in the 8pm hour. Our polled readers experienced mixed results. Following FNL, Dateline NBC drew a 1.2 rating in the 9pm hour and a 1.5 rating in the 10pm hour. Source: TVByTheNumbers

Bad ratings again . It´s true that CBS doesn´t have a timeslot to put Chaos in . However , CBS still prefered Criminal Minds : Suspect Behavior to Chaos . They had could put Chaos Wednesday instead the spin-off Criminal Minds.

Tuesday night or even Thursday night sounds like a better fit if you ask me. Either way, what CHAOS needs is a strong lead in... and right now, they don't even have that. Or better yet, put CHAOS in the summer timeslot when the competition isn't so fierce...

For me , the problem isn´t the fierce competition . The problem is that on Friday all shows began before than Chaos. In my opinion April is too late for a premiere. Therefore , or people don´t stay home on Friday or they wath their favourite show, that it has been on the air since September.

I definitely agree that Friday is a problem for CHAOS... and you're right about people watching their favorite show, i.e. Smallville. As for launching it in April... Well, they did pick it up as a midseason show, so they had to launch it sometime... and they waited until the whole basketball thing was over and Defenders was wrapped up before they even had an opening for the show. I don't know... I really hope CBS gives the show a chance to build up its audience. I mean... Even after the 3rd episode was aired, people are still talking about it positively... which is rare since a lot of shows don't even last past its first or second episode before the 'bad' reviews start coming in.

Hiya everyone! Just saw this on TV Guide and man... talk about depressing there. TV Guide has put 'CHAOS' on their 'Bubble Show' list... which I can't blame them for it... while Matt Roush has pretty much written the show off after some excited fan wrote in and asking him if he thinks the show will last. Gesh... Leave it to Roush to put a serious downer on it... Then again, he wasn't even on board with the 'Pilot' when he wrote the review. Do you think it will survive? — CK Matt Roush: So far, if the ODS team's mission was to wrangle ratings, they're not doing a very good job. CBS did Chaos no favors to throwing it on Fridays in an early hour during the spring, and there's no buzz around it, so the consensus is that it's being burned off. Enjoy it while you can. Source: TV Guide - Ask MattAnd here's the TV Guide's 'Bubble List'. I just post the 'relevant' shows for this. In addition, I do see a few posts from the readers saying that they do love CHAOS and the 'lighter tone' it brings to the network. Definitely several say DO keep it around. **** Today's News: Our Take 25 Bubble Shows — Which Will Survive?Apr 17, 2011 10:03 PM ET by Adam Bryant and Denise Martin Will Chuck's luck finally run out? We offer an analysis of what's to come, so you can brace yourselves (looking at you No Ordinary Family fans, wherever you are) if things aren't looking so hot. Chaos (CBS) Fridays at 8/7c
The Good News: The show features a great cast that has excellent chemistry. Plus, the show is lighter than many of the gloomy procedural dramas on CBS.
The Bad News: The show's lighter tone perhaps doesn't appeal to CBS' core audience — only 6.4 million viewers watched the premiere episode. That number shrank to 5.6 million viewers during the most recent airing.Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior (CBS)Wednesdays at 10/9c The Good News: CBS loves creating franchises, and this spin-off, which airs back-to-back with its mothership, easily wins its timeslot on a regular basis. The Bad News: Fans haven't exactly responded positively to the ensemble, led by Oscar winner Forest Whitaker. The show suffered a steep if predictable decline in viewership after its initial airing. The show has since stabilized, averaging 9 to 10 million viewers, but that's still well off Criminal Minds: Original Flavor's 13 million average. CSI: NY (CBS)Fridays at 9/8c The Good News: The veteran drama's move to Friday nights bolstered rookie cop drama Blue Bloods with a solid lead-in, and Blue Bloods became a bona fide CBS hit. The Bad News: Blue Bloods now regularly draws a bigger audience than CSI: NY. Although the show performs solidly for a Friday night, CBS can be rather ruthless, even with shows that have a dedicated fan base. This one will most certainly depend on what CBS' development slate looks like. The Defenders (CBS)Fridays at 8/7c The Good News: Jim Belushi and Jerry O'Connell make a charming pair of leads. (We're surprised as you are.) The Bad News: The show was CBS' lowest-rated drama of the season. At midseason, it was bumped to Friday, where it burned off the end of its freshman run, averaging a little more than 8 million viewers per episode. Source: TV Guide

Hiya everyone! Argh!!! Stupid, stupid CBS! In case you haven't heard already... Deadline is reporting that CBS has yanked CHAOS off the schedule just after 3 freaking episodes... replacing with some other crappy show called 'Flashpoint'. Gesh! Why bother fighting getting the show on board and then dooming it at death timeslot afterwards... I just DON'T get CBS there! And the thing is, based on the article, the final ratings were a tenth up in the 18-49 demo range. Well, here's the news... I'm sure all the naysayers are just jumping up and down with joy with the news. PS: I have also posted this in the 'CHAOS Press' Thread as well. [glow=red,2,300]CHAOS
Pulled From Schedule[/glow]CBS Pulls 'Chaos,' Brings Back 'Flashpoint'By NELLIE ANDREEVA | Monday April 18, 2011 @ 4:23pm PDT CBS has pulled midseason series Chaos off the schedule after three low-rated airings in the challenging Friday 8 PM time slot. The CIA dramedy most recently drew a 1.0/3 in 18-49 and 5.7 million viewers this past Friday. That was actually up a tenth in the demo from the previous week but way below what Medium and The Defenders were pulling in the slot earlier this season. For the next two weeks, CBS will air CSI: NY repeats in the 8 PM hour, with Canadian-made backup Flashpoint stepping in May 6 with originals. CBS fought hard to land Chaos in dramatic negotiations with producer 20th Century Fox TV that lasted a couple of months last summer. On another note, does anyone what's going to happen to the rest of the episodes? I still would love to see them... and from the various reaction on the net, I'm not the only one there... **** CBS Pulls 'Chaos' From Schedule After Three EpisodesIn its most recent episode, the spy series averaged 5.5 million viewers and a 0.9 rating in the key demo of adults 18-49. April 18 9:46 PM 4/18/2011 by Kimberly Nordyke Courtesy of CBSCBS has pulled the low-rated spy series Chaos from its schedule after three episodes. The dramedy, which stars Freddy Rodriguez and Eric Close, debuted to 6.4 million viewers in its April 2 premiere but managed only a 1.1 rating in the key demo of adults 18-49. In its second week, Chaos fell to 5.6 million viewers and a 0.9, with its third episode pulling in 5.5 million viewers and a 0.9 on Friday. Hiya everyone! Well, for anyone who still interested, the DVR numbers are in for Episode 1.01 - 'Pilot'. TVByTheNumbers posted the Top 25 List for various categories. Interestingly enough, only CHAOS and CSI: NY made it the list from all the shows on the Friday night line-up. CHAOS came in at No. 20 with an increase of 27% increase in the 18-49 demo range, moving up from 1.1 to 1.4. No word on the total numbers of viewers though. I will just post the CHAOS part. You can check the rest of the charts out going to the link below. [glow=red,2,300]Episode 1.01 - 'Pilot'
Live + 7 DVR[/glow]Live+7 DVR Ratings: 'Grey's Anatomy' Musical Episode Tops Absolute Gains, 'The Event' Tops % GainsBy Bill Gorman– April 18, 2011 Our source for Live+7 DVR ratings includes only original, regular programs, excluding both repeats (which are unlikely to be heavily DVR viewed) and “specials”. There were 49 such programs in the complete data for the week, which is slightly more than half a full schedule of new broadcast episodes. During the twenty-eighth week of the broadcast season (March 28 – April 3), Grey’s Anatomy, The Event and The Mentalist topped our rankings for the week’s DVR viewing added between the Live+Same Day period (as reported in all our other ratings posts) and the Live + 7 Day measurement periods. Grey’s Anatomy (the musical episode) lead all shows for adults 18-49 ratings added after airdate via DVR viewing, adding 1.4 adults 18-49 ratings points to its Live+Same Day adults 18-49 ratings. The Event led the % adults 18-49 ratings increase from DVR viewing, adding 50% to its Live+Same Day adults 18-49 ratings. (Fringe in repeats in this week!) The Mentalist topped the absolute average viewership gained from DVR viewing, adding 3.518 million average viewers via DVR viewing between the Live+Same Day and Live + 7 day measurement periods. Do the Live+7 ratings tell us anything about a show’s renewal prospects we didn’t already know from the Live+SD ratings? No. Click here to learn more. Definitions:DVR (Time-shifted) Adults 18-49 Ratings – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day(Live+SD) ratings include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast. DVR Ratings Increase Past Airdate - How many people watched the show on their DVRs within 7 days following the airdate Until the 2009-2010 season, we used a show’s LIVE program rating or viewership as the base upon which the LIVE+7 day DVR viewing was added. Now, the press seems to be standardizing around using LIVE+SAME DAY DVR viewing as the base for the calculations, so that’s what we do now as well. Nielsen TV Ratings Data:©2011 The Nielsen Company. Hiya everyone! Okay... I forgot to bring the 'hiatus' news that I posted in the 'Press' thread over to this thread as well. So here we go. This is what I posted yesterday in the other thread. **** Okay, CBS just posted this on their Press site. Apparently, they haven't abandoned CHAOS completely yet. If I'm reading this correctly, the show WILL RETURN on a later date that has yet to be announced. Hmm! Makes you wonder why they didn't announce THAT yesterday... but rather today... Either way, if I was CBS, I would put the show during the summer and give it another try there... relaunching it properly this time... and airing the episodes in the CORRECT order. I mean... What do they have to loose in the end? Nothing really if you ask me. And you know what? With the schedule they have set up for the remainder of April, total bust if you ask me. This Friday is going to be bad because of it being 'Good Friday' and the Easter weekend right around the corner... the following Friday everyone is going to cover the royal wedding hoopla... Hmm... I definitely can see it now why CBS decided to pull it out now and save Episode 1.04 for a later airing. But seriously, I will keep you posted on how CHAOS' replacement will do during that timeslot, especially with how everyone is now raving about 'Flashpoint' returning earlier than expected. At least now we know that we're getting the remaining episodes there at a later date. [glow=red,2,300]CHAOS To Return
On A Later Date[/glow]04.19.2011 CBS's POLICE DRAMA, "FLASHPOINT," RETURNS ON FRIDAY, MAY 6, 8:00-9:00 PM FLASHPOINT, a police drama depicting the emotional journey into the risk-filled lives of cops in the Strategic Response Unit, returns to CBS on Friday, May 6 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT). FLASHPOINT replaces CHAOS, which will go on hiatus effective immediately but return to the schedule at a later date. CBS will air a rebroadcast of CSI: NY this Friday, April 22 with coverage of the Royal Wedding scheduled for next Friday, April 29. FLASHPOINT originally premiered in July 2008 and became that summer's top original scripted series, winning its time period against non-Olympic competition. On Fridays last summer, FLASHPOINT averaged 7.13 million viewers, 1.4/05 in adults 18-49 and 2.1/06 in adults 25-54. FLASHPOINT stars Hugh Dillon, Enrico Colantoni, Amy Jo Johnson and David Paetkau. Anne Marie La Traverse and Bill Mustos are executive producers for Pink Sky Entertainment and Avamar Entertainment in association with CBS Television Studios.
