As season two has only just started on UK tv I am going back to the beginning. The Bus, so far, is my favourite MS episode. I know there are probably more in season two but as i haven't seen them i can only comment on this one. They were both astounding in this. Her emotion at the ned when she finally let her guard down in front of him was excellent. Hope to see more of it.

I LOVE 'The Bus'. It's probably the only episode I've watched just tons of times in a row! I loved it sooooo much, and not just for the MS factor in it either. Though the end scene between them was beautiful. I think it was one of the best episodes that's ever been written for the show and a great start off to season two. The case was great, all of the team was involved and it was just really good Can't think of more to say about it aside from that

I keep waiting for CBS to air a repeat or TNT to start their syndication of season 2. Of course, I'd much rather they release season 2 on DVD... ;D Thank goodness for Federal Threesome and Sweet Embrace for making clips available so I'm not completely in the dark.

I rewatched The Bus yesterday when I had a bit of time to waste (and I was sifting through my WaT tapes to organize them) and I have to say I enjoyed it so much more this time and the first time. Although after Fallout Parts 1 and 2 I was seriously rooting for M/S even though most people say it was more of a J/S show, I felt Martins feelings for Sam and knew they had to be together.
The Bus really showed Sam wishing she could be strong but failing, and turning to Martin for help. To me, it seems like a companion episode to Shadows, where Martin is the one who needs help being strong and turns to Sam for help.
It truly is the beginning of a great friendship, that I hope the writers won't ruin by making their current relationship screw up.

That's where their relationship moved from being colleagues to good friends. It truly showed that they could trust the other and lean on the other for help when they needed it. I too hope that the writers don't ruin their great friendship by making a mess of their romantic relationship. They're great friends and screwing up what they currently have would just ruin it. They have to stay friends no matter what. I have faith in the writers... and my fingers crossed

I do love 'The Bus' and the scene at the end - utterly fantastic, you can see how scared she is to let him in, but she takes the chance and he agrees. But their first scene together REALLY annoys me. (The scene where Sam gets out of the car, and tells Martin to 'hold your horses'). It's obvious that Sam's in pain and having trouble with her leg. I just don't see Martin standing by and waiting impatiently, almost telling her to hurry up. I'd like to think he'd at least TRY and help her. She pretty much tells him she's in pain, chances are by that point she'd have accepted help, especially considering by the end of the episode she's turning to him for help.

Yeah I'd like to think that Martin would help her, but at the same time, since she was shot, I see Martin trying to play around with her and joke. It's obvious they had gotten closer and pushing her like that, telling her to hurry up, is like a way to playfully get on her nerves and push her to get through the pain. She desperately wanted to get back to work and out in the field after all, and since she said to Jack earlier that she can go out there by herself, Martin would likely have known that and was trying to help her push through the pain and get her back to her normal healthy self so she could go out into the field alone and be happy again. That's just my interpretation of that scene anyway. I don't see him as leaving her stranded at all and being ungentlemanly, but a friend in helping her out in a different kind of way. I agree though, it would have been nice to see him actually help her out and be close to her, especially since she went to him for actual help after that case I think the shooting too though (of her killing the men) more pushed her to ask him out for drinks and company than her being shot. She'd been through a hell of a lot by the end of 'The Bus' case!!

Hi, "The bus's a very fantastic episode. And the season 2 just also fantastic. The scene when Sam killing the 2 man in the park is very surprising. On France we are at the 5*17 but it's stop because it's the holidays.
