the actress that plays kate , jack's daughter, is laura marano. you find more about her in this page. www.imdb.com/name/nm1404824/think the ep was ok, and I agree with your opinions. just a couple of things: I love the interaccion btw danny and elena, but just as friends and I hope writers keep them like that bc I dont' see them as a couple, they don't have that kind of chemistry. that would spoil everything and would drag too much attention from m/s. but its just my opinion and, mayb it was a bit out of line the way danny adressed agent cassidy; I think it was a bit too much familiarity, even for Danny.but it was a funny scene though. by th way, don't you have the feeling that jack treats danny with too much contempt sometimes; not in this scene in particular, which I could understand, but in general. as if he felt less respect for danny than for any other members of the team. but again, mayb its just me...

I liked the episode. Specially the scene when Kate takes her father´s ring, and the talk about her mom had taken hers a long time ago. I thought it was a very mature attitude for a young girl. And Anne, scared to have dinner with Kate.
And Bicoco, did you recognized the mother of the MP? It was Meg, from Jag, season 1.

Meg? Meg Austin? Lovely Meg Austin from JAG? The lovely Meg Austin from JAG that never got busy with DJE?!! Ahhh! Yes! Hint... if you like her, check the fanfic thread in about a month and you'll find something... Another clue (sorry Mods) 'kindergarten sweethearts'... And that's all I'm gonna say about that. Regarding Kate, I think she was always the cute one, not like Hanna who's always angry

I was a JAG freak too! "Meg" has certainly changed in the past 10 years. Yes it was her and she's been on other shows lately. Maybe CSI or Cold Case. I can't recall.

I've noticed that if you see a sort of familiar face in one CBS show, chances are they'll guest star, or already have guest starred on the others. They all tend to do the rounds, go from one of the CSI's then to Cold Case and then Without a Trace. Sometimes they'll show up in ER or Law and Order too, but familiar faces pop up everywhere. It's really good to spot them, but sometimes trying to remember who they were on another show can drive you nuts

Yes! I've noticed it too.
The girl who played Kate, John Michaels's daughter (John Michaels) was the one who played detective Sutton in Cold Case. The one who played Gina Hill was in Close to Home and I know that if take time, I'll remember more examples...
so cool!

yeah but sometimes it's not a good thing. Like the guy who played the child molester of boys.. can not think of his name at the moment. But he was in two eps. OMG I can't believe my mind has blanked out like this. Anyways, you grow to really dislike his character and then he shows up on CSI as a sheriff. What in the world? I was like I'm supposed to like him now? I just really associated him with that part. lol oh and on Star Trek they used to do that all the time. Sometimes the actor would play the same character, but a lot of times it was a different one in different make up. But their voices are recognizable so I would know. It would always drive me crazy to try and figure out where I know that voice or face.

I´ve just seen the episode last night. I liked it.
The thing with the rat was hilarious, although Danny liked the dead rodent a little bit too much. The interaction between him and Elena at her desk was well acted. Their relationship has definitly potential.
Too less M/S, that´s for sure.
Anne´s doubts about the dinner with Kate were understandable yet unfounded. I loved the scene where she took Jack´s ring.
