Hey !
There´s a lot of threads about Eric like 1) his brothers, 2) he copeting in a marathon, 3)his family, etc
So, in order to maintain the order here, I´m putting all threads together here (and deleting the others).
ERIC IN NEW MOVIE
www.imdb.com/title/tt0478259/
Kevin Bacon and his brother, Chris co-star. It doesn't give a release date, it just says 2006. It look like an interesting plot.
ETA: When you get a chance.. check out who wrote and directed this movie. I'm not sure what's more incredible.. the fact that a 9 yr old wrote and directed and starred in it or he got both Kevin Bacon and EC to co-star with him.
Wow!
ERIC PODCAST
odeo.com/audio/328311/view
and there is a 6 minute podcast/audio file of Eric Close being interviewed last September at the CBS cast party for the upcoming season.
It's very very interesting to just hear his voice with no video and he's, well, so charming in all his answers! Who knew he was a clutz on the computer? (he says even his wife commented he should take a class).
OK, the line is now forming for volunteers to show poor Eric how to use his Mac. I'm first unless someone much bigger comes along! LOL! ;D

His show is gone from CBS, but we're going to take a wild stab and say you'll see plenty of Ray Romano on TV today. As proof, note the amateur he was paired with after Kevin James pulled out: Eric Close, a.k.a. Martin Fitzgerald of Thursday night powerhouse ``Without A Trace.''
Close played in 2003 but not last year, as the network sent Gary Sinise of ``CSI: NY.''``
They're coveted spots,'' Close said. ``It's an honor. I love being here and playing. It's stressful and all that, but I'm having a good time.''
Can he get on the annual list? ``You have to have a show like Ray's,'' Close said.
Romano is an interesting dichotomy. The crowd here loves him, but the TV audience usually ends up pleading for mercy when CBS decides ``Everybody Loves Every Shot Raymond Takes And Every Wisecrack, Too.''
• Close has more of a chance to display his humor today than he does on his show. Will Martin Fitzgerald ever crack a joke? ``He is definitely a serious guy,'' Close said. ``But maybe he'll lighten up when he gets over his drug problem.'' (Insider tip: Rehab is in Martin's future.)

Here's a short article about EC's performance at the PGA Pro Am tournament last week in Pebble Beach, Calif. (btw, he's rated 33rd by Golf Digest out of the 100 best celebrity golfers, right ahead of David James Elliot of JAG fame). I bolded the interesting parts, spoiler ahead!(click to enlarge)
