Hiya everyone! I have posted this in the 'CHAOS On Facebook, Twitter & YouTube' thread, but in case you missed out on there... Here we go. ;D **** Here's an update from Martha. She was nice enough to answer some questions when CHAOS would return. According to her, CBS told her that they would run CHAOS in the summer. Overall, her tone wasn't that too optimistic though... which was to expected. From the sound of it, it was more like wrap everything up for now and we will figure out the rest later... But I think the part that got me more worried was the fact that they were still editing Episode 1.04 - 'Two Percent' TODAY! At 4:09pm no less! Yes, it's true... She posted a picture from post-production and they had the scene of the guys that we saw in the promos. No wonder why CBS pulled Episode 1.04 out soon... probably just to give them a little more time to finish editing it all. I guess that's what you get for shuffling all the episodes around. Keep in mind, 'Two Percent' was originally Episode 1.08. [glow=red,2,300]CHAOS To Return

Hiya everyone! As promised, here are the prelim numbers for last night... Friday, April 22, 2011. CBS aired a repeat of CSI: NY and a special called 'Girl’s Night Out: Superstar Women of Country'. Overall, the repeat episode of CSI: NY earned around the same numbers as CHAOS at the 8pm timeslot. **** Marc Bergman writes on Saturday, April 23, 2011:Friday 4/22/11 -Total Viewers: CBS: 7.66 million, NBC: 5.28, ABC: 4.44, Fox: 3.12, CW: 2.10 -Adults 18-49: CBS: 1.4 rating/ 5 share, ABC and NBC: 1.2/ 4 each, Fox: 1.1/ 4, CW: 0.9/ 3 -------------------- Note: Any prior rating results are based on the final nationals. Since the level of DVR penetration has increased from 33 percent at this same point last year to approximately 38 percent at present, the overall results may be negatively impacted. ---------- -Friday’s Winners: Girl’s Night Out: Superstar Women of Country (CBS) -Disappointing: Smallville (CW), Supernatural (CW) -Friday’s Losers (excluding repeats): Friday Night Lights (NBC), Primetime: What Would You Do? (ABC), Fringe (Fox), 20/20 (ABC) and the night overall ---------- -Ratings Breakdown: CBS led the ratings challenged Friday night troops, with a first-place finish in total viewers and adults 18-49 thanks to 9-11 p.m. special Girl’s Night Out: Superstar Women of Country. The special averaged 8.48 million viewers with a 1.6 rating/5 share from 9-11 p.m., with the half-hour breakdown as follows: Girl’s Night Out: Superstar Women of Country (CBS) 9:00 p.m. – Viewers: 7.91 million (#1), A18-49: 1.5/ 5 (#1) 9:30 p.m. – Viewers: 8.18 million (#1), A18-49: 1.6/ 5 (#1) 10:00 p.m. – Viewers: 8.82 million (#1), A18-49: 1.7/ 5 (#1) 10:30 p.m. – Viewers: 8.99 million (#1), A18-49: 1.7/ 5(#1) For low HUT-level Friday, consider this a “winning performance.” Earlier in the evening on CBS was a repeat of CSI: NY in place of canceled three-episode Chaos at 6.04 million viewers (#1) and a second-place 1.0/ 3 (tied with NBC and Fox) among adults 18-49. Second-place NBC (which tied ABC in the demo) populated this third Friday in April with episode two of the final season of family drama Friday Night Lights (Viewers: #3, 3.75 million; A18-49: #2t, 1.0/ 3 at 8 p.m.), which just never resonated universally, and another two-hour edition of Dateline (Viewers: #2, 6.05 million; A18-49: #2, 1.4/ 4 from 9-11 p.m.). Elsewhere, ABC’s Shark Tank, a Mr. TV favorite, won the 8 p.m. hour in adults 18-49 (1.4/ 5), which is certainly nothing to brag about, with a second-place finish in total viewers (4.90 million). Next was Primetime: What Would You Do? at an unimpressive 3.80 million viewers (#3) and a 1.1/ 4 in the demo (#4) at 9 p.m., followed by 20/20 at 4.44 million viewers (#3) and a 1.2/ 4 among adults 18-49 (#3). Primetime: What Would You Do? would be better served as a summer series only. Unfortunately, the novelty has worn off. Fox opened with a repeat of Kitchen Nightmares (Viewers: #4, 2.74 million; A18-49: #3t, 1.0/ 4 at 8 p.m.) into already renewed Fringe (Viewers: #4, 3.51 million; A18-49: #3, 1.2/ 4), which concludes for the season on May 6. And The CW capped off the tired night with veteran Smallville (Viewers: #5, 2.23 million; A18-49: #5, 0.9/ 3), which officially ends with a two-hour episode on May 13, followed by Supernatural (Viewers: #5, 1.97 million; A18-49: #5, 0.9/ 3). Chances are Supernatural will inherit the Friday 8 p.m. hour next season despite its ongoing lackluster performance. Source: Nielsen Media Research data (R = repeat) Source: Pifeedback - Friday, April 22, 2011And speaking of 'Blue Bloods', it looks like troubling times ahead. The show's two creators just existed the show yesterday while they are in the process of still looking for a new showrunner. It looks like a mess to me. **** 'Blue Bloods' Creators Depart After One Season10:34 PM 4/22/2011 by Philiana Ng "Mitchell Burgess and Robin Green have exited the rookie CBS drama, toplined by Tom Selleck. If and when Blue Bloods returns for a second season, the people leading it behind the scenes will be very different. That’s because series creators Mitchell Burgess and Robin Green have parted ways with the drama, which centers on a family of New York cops led by Tom Selleck as a police commissioner, a source familiar with the situation confirms. Both have worked together on shows like Southland, The Sopranos and Northern Exposure. The show is in the midst of a transition with a search for a new showrunner. Though it has been speculated that Burgess and Green departed due to differences in opinion with other parties on changing the format to act more as a procedural, that is apparently not the case. The duo’s exit follows veteran showrunner Ken Sanzel’s (Numb3rs) departure last August, who is executive producing Robert De Niro’s CBS pilot Rookies. The series, which has three more episodes to air this season, has performed solidly in its Friday time slot. Its latest episode, “Model Behavior,” drew 10.7 million viewers and a 1.6 in the adults 18-49 demographic. The network also put Bloods on Wednesday for four weeks as a test run earlier this year, getting a slight boost in the ratings. CBS has not officially announced a second season pickup. Hiya everyone! Here are the final numbers for Friday night with CSI: NY taking over the CHAOS timeslot. Interestingly enough, the repeat was down in the final numbers, especially in the total number of viewers. The numbers went from 6.04 million down to 5.999 million. For all the 3 airings CHAOS had, their numbers never went down for the final ratings. They were always up. As for DVR numbers for the second... I couldn't find anything. TVByTheNumbers didn't list them in the release today so I don't know how they did. I will keep looking though and let you know. **** TravisYanan writes on Monday, April 25, 2011:Friday broadcast finals Shark Tank - 4.828 million viewers - 2.9/5 HH - 1.4/5 A18-49 Primetime: What Would You Do? - 4.004 million viewers - 2.6/4 HH - 1.2/4 A18-49 20/20 - 4.462 million viewers - 3.1/5 HH - 1.2/4 A18-49 CSI: NY (R, 8pm, 98% coverage CBS normally 99%) - 5.999 million viewers - 3.9/7 HH - 1.0/3 A18-49Girls Night Out: Superstar Women of Country (120 minutes, 98% coverage) - 8.368 million viewers - 5.1/9 HH - 1.6/5 A18-49 Friday Night Lights (97% coverage NBC normally 98%) - 3.379 million viewers - 2.1/4 HH - 0.9/3 A18-49 Dateline (120 minutes, 97% coverage) - 5.827 million viewers - 3.9/7 HH - 1.3/4 A18-49 Kitchen Nightmares (R, 97% coverage FOX normally 98%) - 2.551 million viewers - 1.6/3 HH - 1.0/3 A18-49 Fringe (97% coverage) - 3.325 million viewers - 2.0/3 HH - 1.2/4 A18-49 Smallville (94% coverage CW normally 95%) - 2.352 million viewers - 1.4/3 HH - 1.0/4 A18-49 - 0.7/3 A18-34 - 0.5/2 W18-34 Supernatural (94% coverage) - 1.904 million viewers - 1.1/2 HH - 0.9/3 A18-49 - 0.7/3 A18-34 - 0.6/2 W18-34 Source: Pifeedback - Friday, April 22, 2011

Hiya everyone! Here are the prelim ratings for Friday night. Looks like CBS managed to win big at the 8pm timeslot with the wedding hoopla special. Next week is going to be interesting though since 'Flashpoint' is set to premiere. Other than that, CSI: NY and Blue Bloods remain steady with no real benefit from the 8pm timeslot lead in. **** RATINGS RATE RACE: CBS Wins Night Dominated By Royal Wedding SpecialsBy NELLIE ANDREEVA | Saturday April 30, 2011 @ 11:15am PDT Will this further shake CBS' commitment to scripted programming on Fridays? Last night, a Royal Wedding special at 8 PM (1.7/6, 8.6 million) delivered a rare decisive No. 1 finish in the hour for the network among 18-49 and outranked the network's scripted entries in the slot this season -- Medium, The Defenders and especially Chaos. CBS' CSI: NY (1.7/5, 9.2 million) was flat, as was Blue Bloods (1.6/5, 9.8 million).ABC's Shark Tank (1.2/4) was down 14%. It was followed by a Royal Wedding 20/20, which drew a 1.5/5. NBC's Friday Night Lights (0.6/2) finished dead last in the 8 PM hour, plummeting 33% from last week. Dateline (1.2/4) was down a tenth. Fox's Fringe (1.3/4) was up a tenth from last week, Kitchen Nightmares (1.3/5) was down from two weeks ago. CW's Smallville was down 20% vs. last week in 18-49 (0.8/3) but up 14% in 18-34 (0.9/3), Supernatural was flat in 18-49 (0.9/3) but up 29% in 18-34 (0.9/3). Source: DeadlineAnd here's the Hollywood Reporter coverage for last night. **** Friday Ratings: 'Fringe' Rises; 'Friday Night Lights,' 'Shark Tank' DipApril 30 2:20 PM 4/30/2011 by Philiana Ng The royal wedding was the talk of the town Friday but several beloved shows still aired originals at night. Fox’s Fringe (3.5 million total viewers, 1.3 rating in the adults 18-49 demographic) rose slightly, with lead-in Kitchen Nightmares (3.3 million, 1.3) down a few notches from its last original. NBC’s Friday Night Lights (3 million, 0.6) was down significantly at 8 p.m., with ABC competitor Shark Tank (4.6 million, 1.2) slipping as well. Smallville (1.9 million, 0.8) went below the 2 million mark in viewers, but was up 14 percent in the adults 18-34 demographic. Supernatural (1.9 million, 0.9), meanwhile, was steady for the CW. CSI: NY (9.2 million, 1.7) and Blue Bloods (9.8 million, 1.6) returned with new episodes. CBS’ royal wedding special (8.6 million, 1.7) at 8 p.m. tied with CSI: NY for the demo win. Hiya everyone! And here's Pifeedback report on the ratings last night. There seems to be an on-going debate on whether show deserves to come back more... CSI: NY or Blue Bloods. Interesting... Hmm! **** Marc Bergman writes on Saturday, April 30, 2011:Friday 4/29/11 -Friday’s Winners: The Royal Wedding: Modern Majesty (CBS), CSI: NY (CBS), Blue Bloods (CBS) -Friday’s Losers (excluding repeats): Shark Tank (ABC), Friday Night Lights (NBC), Kitchen Nightmares (Fox), Smallville (CW), Dateline (NBC), Fringe (Fox), Supernatural (CW) ---------- -Ratings Breakdown: CBS, which benefited by the Royal Wedding, led this final Friday in April, with a first-place finish in both total viewers and key adults 18-49. An 8 p.m. special, The Royal Wedding: Modern Majesty, lifted the Eye net to a dominant finish in both total viewers (8.59 million viewers) and adults 18-49 (1.7 rating/6 share). Tied for the distant No. 2 spot in the time period was Shark Tank on ABC (Viewers: #2, 4.59 million; A18-49: #3, 1.2/ 4) and Kitchen Nightmares on Fox (Viewers: #3, 3.29 million; A18-49: #2, 1.3/ 5). But both non-scripted hours have nothing to boast about, needless to say. Rounding off the 8 p.m. hour was the final season of NBC’s low-rated Friday Night Lights (Viewers: #4, 2.99 million; A18-49: #5, 0.6/ 2), which sunk to a series low, and soon-to-conclude Smallville on The CW (Viewers: #5, 1.94 million; A18-49: #4, 0.8/ 3), which officially wraps up with a two-hour episode on May 13. At 9 p.m., CBS’ veteran CSI: NY won the hour with 9.19 million viewers and a 1.7/ 5 in the demo. But since CBS is unlikely to schedule three hours of the CSI franchise in the fall, the best CSI: NY can probably hope for is a midseason return. On ABC, the first hour of an expanded edition of 20/20, A Modern Fairytale, finished second with 6.65 million viewers and a 1.5/ 5 in the demo. Tied for No. 3 was the first hour of another two-hour edition of NBC’s Dateline (Viewers: #3, 4.79 million; A18-49: #4, 1.1/ 4) and already renewed Fringe on Fox (Viewers: #4, 3.49 million; A18-49: #3, 1.3/ 4). My prediction for ratings-challenged Fringe, which has certainly not benefited since moving to Friday, is a return in midseason. Capping off the 9 p.m. hour was The CW’s just-renewed (and last-place) Supernatural, which left little-to-be desired with 1.94 million viewers and a 0.9/ 3 in the demo. With Smallville exiting, chances are Supernatural will move into the 8 p.m. time period on Friday. CBS’ sure-to-be picked-up Blue Bloods finished first in the 10 p.m. hour in total viewers (9.77 million – most-watched show of the evening), while tying the second hour of ABC’s Royal Wedding-themed 20/20 in the demo (each with a 1.6/ 5). 20/20 averaged 6.74 million viewers, which brought the 9-11 p.m. finish to a respectable 6.69 million viewers and a 1.5/ 5 in the demo. The second hour of NBC’s Dateline lagged at 4.94 million viewers and a 1.3/ 4 among adults 18-49. Overall, tired Dateline could only muster 4.87 million viewers and a 1.2/ 4 in the demo from 9-11 p.m. In a perfect world, NBC would remove Dateline from troubled Friday next season, but the best we can hope for is paring it down to one hour. Hiya everyone! Well, CBS finally premiered the much hyped and anticipated show 'Flashpoint' last night... and guess what? It was pulling the same freaking premiere numbers as 'CHAOS'. 'Flashpoint' only had like 0.5 more million total viewers while the number for the 18-49 demo was the same. But you know what gets me... Where is the freaking 'snarky' tone from everyone, huh? Where is all the blame of pulling the rest of the shows down? Not one peep I tell you... Argh... Doesn't that frustrate you? Anyhoo, here are the articles from Deadline and Hollywood Reporter. **** RATINGS RAT RACE: 'Fringe' Down In Finale, 'Flashpoint' Low In ReturnBy NELLIE ANDREEVA | Saturday May 7, 2011 @ 9:32am PDT Fringe ended its 3rd season last night in a ho-hum fashion. (Knowing their show is coming back, fans probably didn't feel any urgency to see the finale right away.) It drew a 1.2 rating in 18-49, down a tenth from last week, despite its lead-in, Kitchen Nightmares (1.6) being up a big 23%. Nice bump for Gordon Ramsey after his appearance on American Idol Thursday night. Fox finished tied with CBS and ABC for the night in 18-49, while CBS won in total viewers. CBS' Achilles' heel once again was the 8 PM slot, which claimed another casualty, once solid Canadian cop drama Flashpoint, which returned with a 1.1 demo rating. CSI: NY (1.5) was down 2 tenths, followed by Blue Bloods (1.5). down a tenth and last in the 10 PM hour behind NBC's Dateline (1.9) and ABC's 20/20 (1.7). Friday Night Lights (0.8) was up a tenth, while Shark Tank (1.2), Smallville and Supernatural were steady. Source: DeadlineAnd here's the Hollywood Reporter coverage for last night. **** 'Fringe' Season Finale Hits Low in Friday RatingsCBS' "Flashpoint" returns for its third season and the CW's "Smallville" airs the lead-up to next week's two-hour series finale. May 7 12:58 PM 5/7/2011 by Philiana Ng FOX Did last night's game-changing season finale of Fringe really exist? (Spoiler alert) A big, shocking reveal that elicited online reaction didn't seem to boost audience tune-in for its 15-year "jump forward." Fringe tied a series low 1.2 rating in the adults 18-49 demographic and 3.3 million total viewers, according to its preliminary numbers. Fox has already renewed the heavily-serialized drama for a 22-episode fourth season, with executive producer Jeff Pinkner telling THR in late March that they weren't "necessarily surprised" at the pickup. Series star John Noble shared some insight with THR after the initial move to Thursdays, saying, "It was a huge compliment for us to be put there but it was murderous up against Grey's Anatomy, CSI and The Office ... We did erode our numbers." One has to wonder if drastic changes will take place. The good news: Fox tied for first in the demo -- with ABC and CBS -- with a new Kitchen Nightmares (3.7 million, 1.6) kicking off primetime. CBS' Flashpoint (6.9 million, 1.1) returned, with the top-rated scripted telecast CSI: NY (9.3 million, 1.5) down at 9 p.m. Blue Bloods (10.1 million, 1.5) also dipped slightly.ABC's Shark Tank (4.5 million, 1.2) was flat. What Would You Do (4 million, 1.2) and 20/20 (6.1 million, 1.7) followed. NBC was a close second for the night in the demo with a new episode of Friday Night Lights (2.7 million, 0.8), up from the previous week, and Dateline (5.9 million, 1.7).The second hour of Dateline was the highest-rated telecast of the night with a 1.9. The CW's Smallville (2 million, 0.8), readying its two-hour swan song next week, and Supernatural (2 million, 0.9) held steady. Source: Hollywood Reporter

Hiya everyone! And here's Pifeedback coverage on last night's ratings. At least he pointed out that 'Flashpoint' didn't do so well either. But still, no snarky tone much less saying that the 'tic, tac, tock' clock is ticking... **** Marc Bergman writes on Saturday, May 07, 2011:Friday 5/06/11 -Friday’s Winners: Nothing -Friday’s Losers (excluding repeats): Shark Tank (ABC), Flashpoint (CBS), Friday Night Lights (NBC), Smallville (CW), Fringe (Fox), Primetime: What Would You Do? (ABC) ---------- -Ratings Breakdown: The networks shared leadership on this typically fading Friday, with CBS the most-watched network (at under 9-million viewers) and ABC, CBS and Fox tired for first among adults 18-49, each with a 1.4 rating/5 share. In season-premiere news, Canadian drama Flashpoint on CBS got off to a modest return with 6.89 million viewers (#1) and a third-place 1.1/ 4 among adults 18-49 at 8 p.m. While this is an improvement over recent occupant Chaos, it is below year-ago levels. Next on CBS was on-the-fence CSI: NY (Viewers: #1, 9.31 million; A18-49: #1, 1.5/ 5 at 9 p.m.), which would not be a question mark had it aired on another network, followed by Blue Bloods at a dominant 10.12 million viewers and a third-place 1.5/ 4 in the demo at 10 p.m. Although Blue Bloods did finish last among adults 18-49, it was the most-watched show of the evening. In season-finale news, year three of Fox’s already renewed Fringe was uneventful at 3.30 million viewers (#4) and a 1.2/ 4 among adults 18-49 (#3t) at 9 p.m. Comparably, that dipped by lead-in Kitchen Nightmares (Viewers: #3, 3.65 million; A18-49: #1, 1.6/ 6 at 8 p.m.) by 350,000 viewers and 25 percent in the demo. Elsewhere, ABC opened the evening with Mr. TV favorite Shark Tank (Viewers: #2, 4.48 million; A18-49: #2, 1.2/ 5 at 8 p.m.), which is a better show when Mark Cuban is one of the “sharks,” followed by Primetime: What Would You Do? (Viewers: #3, 4.04 million; A18-49: #3t, 1.2/ 4) and 20/20 (Viewers: #3, 6.09 million; A18-49: #2, 1.7/ 5), which featured a behind-the-scenes report on the death of Osama bin Laden. NBC aired the next installment of the final season of Friday Night Lights (Viewers: #4, 2.72 million; A18-49: #4t, 0.8/ 3), which plummeted to what could be a series low, followed by another two-hour edition of Dateline (Viewers: #2, 5.88 million; A18-49: #1, 1.6/ 5 from 9-11 p.m.). The CW capped off the evening with veteran Smallville (Viewers: #5, 2.00 million; A18-49: #4t, 0.8/ 3), which concludes next week, and Supernatural (Viewers: #5, 2.08 million; A18-49: #5, 0.9/ 3), which is likely to take over the Friday 8 p.m. hour next fall. Needless to say, the networks have plenty of work ahead trying to fix this increasingly difficult evening. Source: Nielsen Media Research data (R = repeat) Source: Pifeedback - Friday, May 06, 2011

Hiya everyone! Of course, I couldn't resist checking out TVByTheNumbers out to see if there's any 'snarky' tone in regards to 'Flashpoint' return. And... Nothing... Nadda! Gesh... It seemed like everyone was picking 'CHAOS' there for not doing so well at that timeslot. Argh! I will just post the article, but for the charts, just go to the link provided below. PS: Did CBS even bother promoting 'Flashpoint'? I honestly hadn't heard much less seen anything except for that Press Release they had released a few weeks back where they announced that 'CHAOS' was going to be put on hiatus. **** Updated TV Ratings Friday: 'Fringe' Down, But Better Than Return of 'Flashpoint;' 'CSI: NY,' 'Blue Bloods' Down; 'Kitchen Nightmares' Up; 'Smallville,' 'Supernatural' Steady'By Robert Seidman– May 7, 2011 ABC, CBS and Fox tied for the adults 18-49 lead last night and CBS easily won the PR friendly total viewers crown. As posted earlier, Fringe closed out its season down a tenth to a 1.2 adults 18-49 rating. Earlier in the night Kitchen Nightmares was up 23% to a 1.6 adults 18-49 rating. The return of Flashpoint scored a 1.1 adults 18-49 rating. CSI: NY was down two tenth to a 1.5 adults 18-49 rating and Blue Bloods also scored a 1.5 adults 18-49 rating, down a tenth from last Friday. But it finished last in its timeslot, losing to the 10pm hour of Dateline (1.9 adults 18-49 rating) and 20/20 (1.7 adults 18-49 rating). Friday Night Lights was up a tenth to a 0.8 adults 18-49 rating. Shark Tank was steady with a 1.2 adults 18-49 rating. Smallville and Supernatural were steady, with Supernatural tying for the lead with adults 18-34 (1.0) for its hour. Source: TVByTheNumbers

Hiya everyone! Hmm... It looks like word of the mouth finally got around and people actually tuned in for 'Flashpoint' this week. Ratings were definitely up... 1.3/5 in the 18-49 demo with a 7.9 million total viewers. Personally, I was tuning in for the 'Smallville' Series Finale... and I'm happy to note that ratings were up for last episode of the show. Let's face it... the show ended on what hell of an EPIC note! And that IS saying something... So far, I have watched a few Series Finale... and all of them have been either pathetically flat or just right down frustrating, i.e. WAT is a very good exapmple fo that... But not 'Smallville'! They really delivered in the end... One SOLID final season... YAY! **** RATINGS RAT RACE: 'Smallville' Up In Series Finale, 'Flashpoint' Rises In Week 2By NELLIE ANDREEVA | Saturday May 14, 2011 @ 9:25am PDT CW's veteran Smallville had a solid though not spectacular end of its 10-year run last night. The two-hour series finale of the young Superman series drew 3 million viewers, 1.3/5 in 18-49 and 1.2/4 in 18-34. That was up 50% in the 18-49 demo from the Smallville's hourlong episode last week but not a series or season high. It was Smallille's most watched episode since October. After a lackluster season premiere last week, CBS' Flashpoint (1.3/5, 7.5 million) jumped 18% in its second airing. In its season finale, CSI: NY (1.5/5, 10.2 million) slipped a tenth from last week while the season closer of Blue Bloods (1.7/5, 11.4 million) was up 13%. CBS won the night in 18-49 (1.5/5) and total viewers (9.7 million). On the heels of its renewal earlier in the day, ABC's Shark Tank (1.3/5, 5 million) ended its second season on a high note, up 8% in the demo and 11% in total viewers from last week. Fox aired a new Kitchen Nightmares (1.5/5), which won the 8 PM hour in 18-49, followed by a repeat. Source: Deadline

Hiya everyone! And here's Pifeedback coverage on last night's ratings. Looks like all the buzz was on 'Smallville' last night. And as for 'Flashpoint', based on Marc's remark, it sounds like it used to get way better ratings than what it has been getting so far. Hmm... Interesting. **** Marc Bergman writes on Saturday, May 14, 2011:Friday 5/13/11 -Total Viewers: CBS: 9.71 million, NBC: 4.77, ABC: 4.36, Fox: 3.46, CW: 2.97 -Adults 18-49: CBS: 1.5/ 5, Fox: 1.4/ 5, CW: 1.3/ 5, ABC: 1.3/ 4, NBC: 1.1/ 4 -------------------- Note: Any prior rating results are based on the final nationals. Since the level of DVR penetration has increased from 33 percent at this same point last year to approximately 38 percent at present, the overall results may be negatively impacted. ---------- -Friday’s Winners: Smallville (CW), CSI: NY (CBS), Blue Bloods (CBS) -Friday’s Losers (excluding repeats): Friday Night Lights (NBC), Primetime: What Would You Do? (ABC), Fringe (Fox), 20/20 (ABC) ---------- -Ratings Breakdown: CBS led this second Friday in May, with a first-place finish in both total viewers and adults 18-49. But the two-hour series-finale of Smallville on The CW -- Viewers: 2.97 million (#5), A18-49: 1.3 rating/5 share from 8-10 p.m. -- finished as the series' most watched episode this season and the network's most watched Friday night since Oct. 15, 2010. Smallville finished second for the evening in adults 18-34 (1.2/ 5) and adults 18-49 (1.3/ 5). CBS opened with recent returnee Flashpoint (Viewers: #1, 7.51 million; A18-49: #2t, 1.3/ 5 at 8 p.m.), which is no longer the attraction it once was, followed by the season (or series) finale of CSI: NY (Viewers: #1, 10.22 million; A18-49: #1, 1.5/ 5 at 9 p.m.) and the season-finale of freshman crime solver Blue Bloods (Viewers: #1, 10.22 million; A18-49: #1, 1.5/ 5 at 10 p.m.). Over at ABC, the season-finale of just renewed Shark Tank, a Mr. TV favorite, finished second in both total viewers (5.00 million) and adults 18-49 (1.3/ 5 – tied with Flashpoint) at 8 p.m. Next was Primetime: What Would You Do? (Viewers: #3, 3.71 million; A18-49: #4t, 1.2/ 4), which faded as the season progressed, and 20/20 (Viewers: #3, 4.37 million; A18-49: #3, 1.2/ 4) from 9-11 p.m. Elsewhere, NBC populated the evening with soon-to-conclude Friday Night Lights (Viewers: #4, 2.80 million; A18-49: #5, 0.7/ 3 at 8 p.m.) and another two-hour installment of uneventful Dateline (Viewers: 5.62 million; A18-49: 1.4/ 5 from 9-11 p.m.). Kitchen Nightmares on Fox (Viewers: #3, 3.69 million; A18-49: #1, 1.5/ 6 at 8 p.m.) led into the season-finale of Fringe (Viewers: #4, 3.23 million; A18-49: #3, 1.3/ 4 at 9 p.m.), which from a ratings perspective should really be concluding. Hiya everyone! I almost forgot to post about this. Here are the final ratings for Friday night. 'Flashpoint' came out with a 1.3 in the 18-49 demo range with 7.640 million total viewers. It only went up slightly... if not tiny in the total number of viewers. On another note, for those who haven't been following the '2011-2012 Network Upfront' news, CBS has renewed 'CSI:NY'... and 'Blue Bloods' is pretty much in as well since they just hired a new showrunner to run the show. 'The Defenders' on the other hand, has already gotten the axe. **** Douglas writes on Tuesday, May 17, 2011:Friday broadcast finals Shark Tank (ABC, 8pm) 3.1/6 HH, Viewers: 4.988 million, 1.3/5 A18-49 Primetime: What Would You Do (ABC, 9pm) 2.3/4 HH, Viewers: 3.783 million, 1.2/4 A18-49 20/20 (ABC, 10pm) 2.9/5 HH, Viewers: 4.342 million, 1.2/4 A18-49 Flashpoint (CBS, 8pm) 4.7/9 HH, Viewers: 7.640 million, 1.3/5 A18-49

Hiya everyone! It looks like 'Flashpoint' has finally lost momentum and sank down to 'CHAOS' numbers in the 18-49 demo range. They only got 0.9/3 in the 18-49 last night with 'CSI: NY' and 'Blue Bloods' finished their season last week... hence the increase in ratings for 'Flashpoint' the week before. I'm curious to know what the total number of viewers there. I will keep you posted on it. PS: I will post the Hollywood Reporter article if they put one up. **** RATINGS RAT RACE: 'Supernatural' Ends Season On Low NoteBy NELLIE ANDREEVA | Saturday May 21, 2011 @ 9:29am PDT After taking last Friday off for the swan song of veteran Smallville, CW's Supernatural returned last night for its own season closer. The finale drew 2.1 million viewers and a 0.8/3 in adults 18-49, down 20% in the demo from the show's last original. With CBS' established Friday dramas CSI: NY and Blue Bloods in repeat/replaced by 48 Hours Mystery, respectively, after ending their seasons last week, Flashpoint (0.9/3) at 8 PM dropped 31% from last week. Fox (average of 1.5/6) won the night in 18-49 with a new Kitchen Nightmares (1.6/6), the highest-rated program of the night, followed by a repeat of the unscripted series (1.4/5). ABC (1.3/4) was second with a Shark Tank rerun and newsmagazines, followed by NBC, which aired Friday Night Lights (0.9/3, up a tenth) and Dateline. Source: Deadline

Hiya everyone! Found it. Here's Pifeedback coverage for the prelim ratings for last night. I had to chuckle when I read that he's already dooming the newly picked up drama show 'A Gifted Man'. Well, at least that is consistent there. Overall, 'Flashpoint' managed to get 6.68 million total viewers with a low 0.9/3 in the 18-49 demo range. **** Marc Bergman writes on Saturday, May 20, 2011:Friday 5/20/11 -Total Viewers: CBS: 6.32 million, NBC: 4.65, ABC: 4.53, Fox: 3.67, CW: 2.14 -Adults 18-49: Fox: 1.5 rating/5 share, ABC: 1.3/ 4, NBC: 1.1/ 4, CBS: 1.0/ 3, CW: 0.8/ 3 -------------------- Note: Any prior rating results are based on the final nationals. Since the level of DVR penetration has increased from 33 percent at this same point last year to approximately 38 percent at present, the overall results may be negatively impacted. ---------- -Friday’s Winners: Nothing -Friday’s Losers (excluding repeats): Friday Night Nights (NBC), Supernatural (CW), Primetime: What Would You Do? (ABC), Dateline (NBC) ---------- -Ratings Breakdown: It was a Friday of split low-rated leadership, which of course is nothing unusual. CBS’ combination of Canadian drama Flashpoint (Viewers: #1, 6.68 million; A18-49: #3t, 0.9/ 3 at 8 p.m.), which has plummeted among adults 18-49, a repeat of CSI: NY (Viewers: #1, 7.08 million; A18-49: #3, 1.1/ 4 at 9 p.m.), and a Friday edition of 48 Hours Mystery (Viewers: #3, 5.21 million; A18-49: #3, 1.0/ 3 at 10 p.m.) led the network to victory in total viewers and a third-place finish among adults 18-49. The season-finale of Kitchen Nightmares (Viewers: #3, 3.84 million; A18-49: #1, 1.6/ 6 at 8 p.m.) and repeat of Kitchen Nightmares (Viewers: #4, 3.49 million; A18-49: #1, 1.4/ 5 at 8 p.m.) resulted in dominance for Fox in adults 18-49 (and a fourth-place finish on total viewers). Looking ahead, there is no reason to believe, unfortunately, that upcoming CBS drama A Gifted Man will spark much interest in the Friday 8 p.m. hour. And Fox’s returning combination of Kitchen Nightmares and Fringe is not, as the network boasted at their upfront presentation, a “winner.” Elsewhere, a repeat of ABC’s Shark Tank (Viewers: #2, 4.15 million; A18-49: #2, 1.1/ 4 at 8 p.m.), which moves back one hour out of relocated Extreme Makeover: Home Edition next fall, led into original installments of Primetime: What Would You Do? (Viewers: #3, 3.94 million; A18-49: #2, 1.3/ 4) and 20/20 (Viewers: #2, 5.52 million; A18-49: #1, 1.5/ 5) from 9-11 p.m. NBC populated the evening with soon-to-conclude Friday Night Lights (Viewers: #4, 3.31 million; A18-49: #3t, 0.9/ 3 at 8 p.m.), which you have to give the network credit for keep on the air, and another two-hour edition of Dateline (Viewers: 5.32 million; A18-49: 1.0/ 3 from 9-11 p.m.), which will be trimmed to one hour (at 10 p.m.) out of new drama Grimm next fall. Given the zero prospects of Grimm finding an audience, you can expect Dateline to be expanded back to two-hours by November. In season-finale news, Supernatural on The CW closed with a last-place finish in both total viewers (2.21 million) and adults 18-49 (0.8/ 3) at 9 p.m. An 8 p.m. edition of Supernatural attracted just 2.06 million viewers (#5) and a 0.8/ 3 in the demo (#5) at 8 p.m. Unfortunately, there is no reason to believe that relocated Nikita in the Friday 8 p.m. will ignite the evening next season.
