No one can even pretend to guess what goes on in the minds of TV executives. I'm sure it's just wishful thinking but I think Chaos has a shot. Keeping fingers crossed.

I was looking at IMDB and saw Eric is playing Casey Malick in Chaos. I went back and read the sides and Casey is described as a human weapon with zero discernible charm. I kinda like the idea of EC playing the tough bad ass. www.imdb.com/title/tt1591468/fullcredits#cast

I'm just hoping we get to see him again sometime soon!

Thanks for the update from IMDB and Eric's role. Curious though, that the IMDB is missing one of the main characters, Michael Decker, the psychologist that Eric orignally was slated (and TV guide listed) as the character. I believe Tim Blake Nelson was also listed, but that character is not on here at all. I wonder what that means...
CHaos is still listed by most of the TV insiders as a darkhorse to make it. CBS only has 3 new drama slots and 9 pilots. I wonder if that ties into his role on Criminal Minds as a backup.

Well, if 'Cold Case' and 'Numbers' aren't renewed and 'Ghost Whisperer' moves to ABC as rumoured, that would leave 3 slots open in the schedule. Another rumour is that TPTB are only so-so about the 'Criminal Minds' spin-off and might air it mid-season. I've read so much stuff recently about the possible 2010-2011 season, I can't remember where I read about those two rumours!!! We just have to keep thinking positively.

Yes, I've heard that too Mimi...they really liked the chemistry between the cast. But I'm still saying my prayers every day!! And CBS are due to announce their Fall TV Schedule on Wednesday afternoon, 19th May.

My stomach is in knots! I don't know if I can survive the tension until Wednesday! CBS are succeeding at keeping everyone in the dark.
By the way, the announcements will be made in New York, so watch your time zones!

Alright ladies, here's the latest rumour about CBS drama pickups according to the Deadline Hollywood website. This is one of the most respected sites in Hollywood with a distinct knack for predicting things correctly, so here we go: Quote:- Drama-wise, Hawaii Five-O and Defenders’ orders seem a sure thing. Legal drama Defenders has already been making deals with writers, with former Without A Trace co-showrunner Greg Walker on board as showrunner. Remaining in contention are Chaos and the Criminal Minds spinoff, with the John Wells-produced medical drama also a possibility, probably for midseason.TPTB were rumoured to not be that impressed with the 'Criminal Minds' spin-off, so we have to wait and see. 'Defenders' stars James Belushi and Jerry O'Connell and is billed as a drama about two lawyers. I have to say I cannot imagine either of these guys doing drama - it seems more like a comedy show. But who are we to wonder why? I laughed out loud when I saw who the showrunner is:- Our old friend Greg Walker. I'm keeping my thoughts about that under my hat, because I don't want to jinx Eric's prospects! According to Deadline Hollywood, CBS are making calls to the producers of shows picked up. 'Defenders' has definitely been picked up. There could be news about 'Chaos' soon. I'm sitting on the Deadline Hollywood website. Any news, you'll be the first to know. www.deadline.com/hollywoodGuys, It's not looking good. The drama starring Tom Selleck has been picked up along with Hawaii 5-0.

Well, it's rumoured that CBS will pick up one more drama and that it will be the Criminal Minds spin-off, even though the Pilot was supposedly awful.
If this is the case, I'm bitterly disappointed - I had really hoped to see Eric back on screen. But all I can do I suppose, is wish that something better comes along for him.
Onward and upward.
